My favorite was the marbling paper with the super cute penguin. He would be so cute as a sticker or keychain. I would also love to see part two! I like that you added the paint markers to amp up the projects. So I want to see how you make the other projects “adult friendly”
That looks like so much fun. Of course we want to see the remaining kits and the Paula magic you will put on them. Love what you did with the left over supplies...the mini canvases are perfect for that. I wish I could take a pic of this blanket I have for our dogs, because it has small dogs on it (Shihtzu, Yorkie, Pomeranian, Westie) it is hard to find things with these types of dogs (sorry, there are no Pick a knee's dogs) so, I would love to see you do something with one or more of the above mentioned dog breeds.😊😊Love your channel, you, and your content! XOko ❣❣❣
Oh I love that, you know I’m working on a little surprise project (hopefully I’ll finish by November) and I was thinking that dogs are under represented haha so I’ll try to include our adored little lap dogs on my work more too! Thank you so much!! ❤️
Excellent, excellent idea for a video! I would love to see you finish up the kits on another video. The idea to donate the leftovers is a very generous and loving one!
Great video Paula. Love the little tiles. Glad to know I'm not the only one who loves craft kits. Would love to see what you create using the little bears. Thanks for sharing. ❤❤❤
Another great video! Thank you for sharing the different craft kits. You did a great job explaining the pros and cons of each. I really liked the tiles because you were able to decorate them with your little characters. Thank you again…blessings.
I had a really rough day and you made be not think about it for 20 minutes. Thank you so much for that ❤️ it’s so kind of you to think about the childrens hospital. I would love part 2!
I liked the resin. I think you should get a more expensive kit and try that. I think the one you poured resin in that you made turned out soon beautiful. Your voice is always so soothing.
My favourite craft is the unicorn, the colors are sooo pretty ! I l also really like the cat lamp. I'd love to see a video where you paint the plaster bear set :3
This was absolutely the best way to start my day❤I have still lots of different art supplies and ideas to keep me concentrated on happy stuff instead of the negative conference meetings in my burned out, stressed out, trauma head. But new ideas are always welcome❤❤❤And sometimes it is just nice to see someone elses inspiration take form too❤You are amazing! Yes, I also want to see part 2😊❤Love your channel! 😊
Wonderful video! Very simple but filled with creativity and just letting your spark take you on an adventure. 💖 I think the kitty light and tile magnets were my favorites but that'd probably because they remind me so much of my daughter. She'd go wild for those!! 💗
Paula...play with your inner child soul forever. I still use lots of kids crafts that i have collected over the years from my sons when they were in school....LOL!! My son is almost 30 and I still have his crafts that he brought home from school and they are not old or messed up. Crayola, cheap acrylic paints, foam sheets, glitter glues I mean you name it. I didn't have to buy anything. Free supplies from the school district🤗 Love your perrito. Que lindo!! 😍everything turned out so cute too!
wow, those are neat kits! 😃👍🏼 and I love what you did with each of them. ❣️ and that's sweet of you to make the little kits to donate. 😃👍🏼🌸💖 Yes please! I'd love to see a part 2. of this video. 😃👍🏼
It's actually not weird that the paint doesn't stick well to the smooth plastic cat lamp. That's exactly how I would expecte it to react, as there isn't enough porosity for the paint to hold on to. I wonder if giving it a slight sanding before painting would have helped. 4:51
You made such cute crafts!! 🥰 Let your inner child flow!! 🤗😍 That unicorn turned out lovely!! 🦄 The paper kit seemed very cool! 👍 I love the birthday card and the penguin!! 🌸 The magnets are super sweet! 😃 The dipped magnet and seashell were beautiful with the unicorn paint on them!! 💖 Yes, I'd love to see what you do with the other kits! 💞
Love your channel and I love doing kits - all the pieces are there and it's quite relaxing in a different way.❤ Really crushed that this is a free ad for a monopoly that is being litigated for Unfair Trade ( which hurts all of us consumers) and union busting (which leaves workers stuck with no power when they want it) Your free ad for them is supporting these harmful things, just something to be aware of. I know we all need to make a living and I run a business, too. But every time a monopoly gets bigger, people suffer.
Haha I’m glad you didn’t skip too and you actually enjoyed it! Thank you!! ❤️ May I ask; why were you going to skip? I love to get these comments because they help me improve and serve you better ☺️
@@bycreativepaula I’m just not particularly interested in the craft projects. Mostly because the “rules” bore me, but I kept watching because I had faith that you would try to expand your creativity with these.
@@hollyscottlaukkonen8280 awww thank you! That’s actually so nice of you! Yeah I don’t do well with very strict rules for creativity either; hence the first three kits that I just didn’t open! Thank you again! You put a big smile on my face! 😃
Personally I thought paper marbeling resembles many of your ‘fill that sketchbook’ ideas. I thought you were going to use one of those papers as a reverse coloring sheet. I would love you to do that in an upcoming video. As usual, I thoroughly enjoyed the video.
I've done a lot of paper marbling and although the original technique involves thickening the water, I never did, and it always worked very well ^_^ I'd be very curious to see what you do with the shells!
Paula, have you ever tried real acrylic pouring on canvas? You mix acrylic paints with a medium called floetrol and/or silicone, then pour paint in layers into a cup and then pour on canvas(there are also other techniques like scraping). Then you tilt the canvas around to reveal different layers. The floetrol makes the paint smooth and it moves and creates these amazing cells. It's unlike anything else. I used to do it quite often the only downside is that does use a lot of pain and it's pretty messy. Still, the results are absolutely stunning! I think the unicorn kit you got is kind of like a knock-off version of this although clearly there's no floetrol and the paint looks watered down but I guess that's to be expected since it's a kids item. Anyways, if you've never seen professional acrylic pouring, you should check it out, there's some great channels like Tiktus and Mixed Media Girl!
I have not! Thank you so much for sharing all this info! I’m going to try to see if the medium is available here! And hopefully try it and share with you!
I am telling you some of those craft kits and the paint included have made many kids give up on art. It's good that your showing that it's the kits not the kids.
I know you were worried, but girl... I loved the longer video! Hungry for more, I can't wait to see you do the bears! I love the cat lamp and the little handmade birthday card!
My friend! I’m so sorry I’m just getting to this comment! Thank you so much! I think you should tackle that cat lamp! I’m sure you’ll come up with something so unique!
Cool. This reminds me of when my 5 yr old daughter told me that the cat told her to do (something). Giggles. When are you inviting me over for playtime, Paula? I will bring lasagna & banana pudding. Homemade. Stay blessed.
Oh my goodness, so ambitious! You really plowed through those kits. (Unless this video took 3 weeks to make, which I would also believe) Your craft room decor must be coming along nicely! =)
I just also found the channel Hazelnutz (l think) and found out that people do ink art, ink paintings instead of fluid art. I liked it. And Paula can try little bit of this for us all to see if it’s makes creativity flourish, as well. I saw soooo much ink in my Hobbycraft, and I thought that this is really annoying, because so much ink shades and colours everywhere. Surprising, there is another side of the creative art: ink art!
Hey! Is there any craft or craft kit you think I should try? Let me know! ❤ Happy to try it so you don’t have too! Apparently I’ll play with anything! 😂
Bellamena did "fixing childhood art kits" that was interesting. As your not in the states, that may be an interesting spin, as to what is available and popular where you are.
My friend bought me a kit from Amazon and i was grateful for it but know i wouldn't enjoy it as much. Its a klutz kit which are awful from videos I've seen. Watching this makes me want different one tho. I like the customizable ones. But like the first ones that are the easy follow directions kinda not much fun in that.
I like the Posca bet for that. But if you cover the rock with a layer of white gesso first then the Arrtx will allow you to get great detail and have more colors!
I recommend steering clear of clickbaity titles and content and stay true to your art ❤ Amazon stuff really doesn’t have anything to do with your creative abilities that you seem to stand for.
Lovely video but be careful with resin, it's actually quite dangerous ! I understand if you don't want to wear the gloves, but pets and kids shouldn't be in the room with you :/ seeing the fluffy dog show up in the corner of the screen got me quite worried...
