In Halo 6 you play as John Halo on a quest to stop an alien from doing something bad that involves a ring, probably. watch live twitch video stream??? / oboeshoesgames
"Kids these days don't know what it takes to be a real Spartan. Here's a hint, it involve not being killed in one hit by a sword." Chak 'Lok: Y'all hear something?
Honestly the only part of the story that sounded weird to me was when Cortana told Chief and the Weapon to 'Learn from my mistakes.' Lady... you committed genocide and tried to enslave the galaxy.
I think she directed that statement specifically at The Weapon, something like "if you also go rampant or insane or whatever, remember what I did and the remorse that followed."
escharum gave me side villain vibes. dudes up your butt like "COME FU- I MEAN FIGHT ME CHIEF, WE'LL FINISH OUR FIGHT" and chief is sitting there like "i have absolutely no idea who you are, i got beef with your homeboy"
You drive it for like 3 seconds, then you reach a locked gate, 2 Hunters, some turrets and a shitload of enemies. Then said shitload of enemies and Hunters curbstomps you the moment you step out of the warthog, you get sent back to the start, and you realize you should have taken the scorpion instead.
there’s sort of a warthog run before you reach the house of reckoning. but as with everything in this game, it’s your choice to make that experience. you can choose to drive a warthog or a tank or a ghost or whatever you want.
@@epsilon6516 Getting to the House of Reckoning isn't a warthog run as it isn't a "You need to gtfo cus this place is exploding" that's an assault to go and save Fernando and confront Escharum and with the Sheila achievement it's pretty clear you're meant to take the tank
Halo: "Here is another ancient alien civilization to gum up the overcomplicated lore." Halo Fans: "Please no. Just finish the story you started with Cortana." Halo: "Too late. Hrrrraaaarrrgg! *Forerunners. Prometheans. Precursors. Endless* !"
@@wweirdguy I have a question; why would you rather the Cortana stuff become an annoying plot hole? Rather than just being good? If 343 had actually focused on it, they probably could have made it a satisfying point. Even if the rogue AI stuff was just plagiarizing Bungie's Marathon.
@@HeckaLives marathon did not create the concept of rouge AIs it was a story trope since before bungie even existed. Bungie copied it and added their own spin just like 343.
Halo has existed for a long time as a franchise yet still no lego version? I think we all know why. The bloons from Mega Blocks took the ip for their own personal gain. Only Cyber Quincy can save Halo from Mega Blocks because nothing gets past his bow.
Probably better off in the end since lego has started distancing itself from "adult content" like guns and such. If you notice the new lego sets that include "guns" look like cartoon nerf guns now, unlike the old ones that had actual revolvers, Tommy guns, rifles, muskets etc
To be fair, the megablocks sets were rad tho, plus, how disappointing would it have been if halo had been picked up by lego, imagine trying to convey the LoD on a spartan's suit with the blocky ass minifigure body
Day 544 of trying to get Oboe to do a Skyrim Sigurd RP I really loved this one, the gameplay was fun, the characters (both story characters and enemies in missions) were great, the soundtrack was incredible, and the story really kept me wanting to know more.
Glad I'm not the only one who didn't like not having a warthog run. "The Road' is the closest thing, but it's way too short. Maybe a full one in a DLC.
@@zomenis Considering I was so bored I didn't even finish my second playthrough and ended up uninstalling it, it sounds about right. The real smoothbrain take is defending something this mediocre and bland
I don't know what people are talking about. I'm having tons and tons of fun with this campaign. Sound design is eargasmic (especially with weapons and enemy feedback). The grappling hook is also so much fun to use
I feel like the "you're getting the wrong experience if you don't play on X difficulty" are all children of "my father mad me suffer so you will too" parents. Edit: look at that, they've come to justify themselves over a joke.
nah, its cause all the games were designed around heroic difficulty. a lot of them straight up say in their menus "this is the way halo is meant to be played."
Halo 4: Hey we’re 343 Industries and we are gonna tell a great story! Here we go! Halo 5: Oh god! Storytelling is really hard! Panic!! Uhhh Cortana’s the bad guy now! Halo 6: Oh Jesus nobody liked Cortana as the bad guy! And now Microsoft is demanding we return everything to status quo so they can still use Cortana as a product!
Let's make Just Cause Far Cry with John Halo, two annoying supporting characters, and a main boss that has _wayyyy_ too much dialogue. Oh, and don't put the magnum, fuel rod cannon, plasma rifle, no Warthog run, or Forge on launch. Also no playable Elites and you need to give us $20 to make your Spartan purple. Oh, and you can't pick the game mode you want or what challenges you want to do. God, I fucking hate 343 and Microsoft lmao
Easy = to get used to the controls/map and to enjoy the story Medium = same as easy but you get slightly more challenge so it feels a bit more rewarding when progressing through the story Heroic: perfect balance of fun and good challenge Legendary: meant for hardcore players that want a really good challenge, and for playing in co-op
I don't think the campaign looks very good, seeing as it looks like the typical "empty open world with 50 outposts to clear", but does the sound bother anyone else? Especially the guns and vehicles. They all sound so weak, no punch or bass. The warthog sounds like a dirt bike and the guns sound like airsoft.
its an essential part to the multiplayer and you can use it to steal weapons, hijack vehicles or just straight up pull yourself to enemies to punch the shit out of them
Farcry style "open world" games are the most uninspired garbage. Just a new skin of paint on the same boring copy of "destroy 40 outposts". This time it's Halo paint.
I also just assume the RB button to be...Agreesive? LB seems to be more of a tactical or item slot. Maybe that's just call of duty talking but I fairly consistently did the opposite of what I wanted to by mixing them up.
This is the first Halo campaign I’ve ever bothered playing and I’ve found it fun. I’ve never been a Halo fan but I saw it on Gamepass and I figured for free what do I have to lose.
I feel like there were problems with story stuff in this game cause the map and the general gameplay are great but all the mission levels kinda succ ass
as someone who played through infinite on legendary, i do not recommend it in the slightest. however, for some odd sense of pride, i seem to find myself going straight into legendary on every halo game i play.
