Great truck! Maverick is growing so fast, the kids look like they are having fun. How time flies my Grandchildrn are growing too fast as well. Hope you get rain we have snow! I put locks on our doors and screen doors plus Camel Bells on my doors to alert me if my kids were getting out or someone came, it helped. 💕🕊📖✝️💜
Seeing Granger with little man, and the wonderful relationship that is forming was so sweet. Then to see you with your daughter genuinely enjoying just being together makes me have hope for the future. Thank you Granger from a firefighter's wife! My husband has been in the field for 18 years now. My husband has been there for some funny calls, silly calls, scary calls, strange calls, and there for someone at one of the most tragic times of their life. We pray for his protection every night and that no matter who he encounters God will work through him to be a light in someone's life who needs it. 🙏 It's been difficult at times when seeing that the public doesn't always respect first responders, but they always show up and do what their called to do anyway. Loved the tribute to first responders. We live in a small town in Kansas that only has a volunteer fire department. My son, 22 has been a volunteer fire fighter for 6 months now and is now. He loves it abs is now considering getting out of the automotive mechanic industry and fire fighting full time.

I have a 2005 Silverado Duramax with the LLY 6.6 L turbo diesel, extended cab. I bought it in 2010 with 38,000 miles and now it has 59,000 miles. I use it mostly for hunting, hauling my camper, and occasional stuff. Since I live in the Denver area, I can't do a delete on the emissions stuff, but I am about to buy a new turbo mouthpiece for the inlet. LLY is the best engine for the Duramax, from what I've researched. Congrats on your truck find, Granger!!

Hey Smiths! I have a 2003 Chevy just like yours with 98,000 miles on it. Sadly only has the 6.0 but still a bullet proof truck. It is totally stock but one thing that is on the top of the list is a turbo. Out of the 20 years these trucks have been out I think they are the best trucks out of all of them. You are going to have an amazing journey with this truck! Can wait what’s next! Yee Yee!

When my son was little we did mom/son days. Being a single mom I didn’t have much money but we would play board games, and watch movies all day long. It was so much fun and a memory I will always treasure.

Thank God for all of our first responders. Mav is so precious and I love watching him grow, learn and explore. My twins are just a month and a half younger. Ironically one of my twins is named Lily.
We are right with you on the subject of the boat ramps! That’s also a nice looking truck. I had an ‘01 gas with Ugly gm pealing paint. At least up until my BOY wrapped it around a tree a few months back. It needed better headlights for sure!

Loved it. As a first responder loved the tribute. Unfortunately I'm on the end that is very forgotten. Everyone thinks of police and fire. No one hardly does anything for ems. As someone who is going through emt training again I'm seeing this again.

Love the truck, and I have to say, as a firefighter (former) it was just something I tried and fell in love with. I totally agree, it never felt like work, I was just with my extended family, doing things we were good at and helping people. Also, please tell me I didn't miss that Maltese Cross Yee Yee shirt long ago, I need one!

Whole video was awesome! Also, I have had my 2004 2500hd 6.0 (gas not a max) for 12 years now. Best truck I ever owned. Thing is a beast! I hope to pass it down to my kids one day!
We have volunteer firemen in Fowler Ohio where I live and I absolutely love those guys and girl's. They have came and helped my mother more time's then I can count and probably saved her life 20 times or more. She did recently pass away but without them I wouldn't got to be with her as long as we were. At the time all this is happening my fiance is in critical condition and also almost passed away. A few weeks prior to Thanksgiving my fiance went into the hospital because she couldn't stay awake and was extremely pale. She goes into emergency they find out she is anemic and her hemoglobin is dangerously low. They give her blood transfusions and 3 days later send her home. She has a family doctor appointment that following day they draw blood put a rush on the results and her hemoglobin was low again so he calls her at 10pm while we're working. She begged him and I not to go back to the hospital, I wish I would've listened. She goes back to emergency after we left work they admitted her and give her more transfusions and on Thanksgiving release her. She comes home and just doesn't feel good and within day's she's turning orange so she goes back in. Between all of this she can't stay out of the hospital for long enough to make it to her oncologist appointment. But when she goes back they said she had a infection so they give her antibiotics and more transfusions well unbeknownst to her the 2nd time she went into the hospital the antibodies in one of the transfusions start attacking her antibodies destroying her red blood cells and causing her hemoglobin to drop to 1.9. But they released her not knowing this was happening she comes home gets deathly ill and I come home from work and she can't walk and is throwing up. I help her to the bathroom and she's urinates all blood. Get her back to the hospital and she tells to me pick up our oldest daughter and go to work. The next day I tried to call her and she must have answered the phone and all I could hear is struggling to breathe, I panic and get dressed and fly to the hospital. I go into her room and she's struggling to breathe can't talk and her arms are flailing all over the place. Eventually they take her from St Joe's hospital in Warren Ohio to Cleveland Clinic. The oncologist said what happened has only happened to about 5 people ever and only 1 person survived, she makes 2. But she's was in the hospital for almost 2 months and racked up hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical bills with insurance paying some but she still owes $70,000 and I set up a GoFundMe for her. She is home but not out of the woods yet and needs all the prayers she can get and if anyone could donate or share her GoFundMe it would be greatly appreciated. She really needs prayers. She is doing better and is home but there is a long road ahead. The hematologist/oncologist said they're not sure what sparked the anemia but one of the transfusions is what almost took her life. gofund.me/40bd4509

Thank you to all first responders. Granger that truck is in great shape, First thing i would do is LIFT IT and tires /wheels, Then Exhaust upgrade, Delete tune it MAKE IT BREATHE. I would get rid of the pull down door handle make it a turn knob
Love the tribute man, I would keep it stock as possible, I would put an air intake on it and exhaust and beefier tires and just upgrade the 19 year old stuff and that’s about it tow mirrors and led lights all the way around
Maverick is going too be as country as people get. You can just tell how much he loves the outdoors and animal's. Wound not surprise me if he became a veterinarian or farmer. YEE YEE 👌👍🇺🇸🤠
FASS fuel systems is about 10 minutes from my shop. I run their lift pumps on all of my Cummins and powerstroke trucks and have never had an issue. Highly recommended!
