We had a store called Drug Emporium and it had a huge makeup area, and I remember spending so much time looking at all the makeup and skincare, too! It was my favorite store to buy all drug store makeup and skincare in my teens. You brought back those memories with your video. You should make an excel sheet on products you’ve tried and your thoughts on it to keep you organized and not waste money. They help me a lot with keeping things on file

Can you remember what was your first high-end makeup purchase was? I'm pretty sure mine was the Kat Von D Everlasting liquid lipstick in Bow N Arrow. It was the first time I ever stepped into a Sephora. Some other of my earliest high end purchases were the Too Faced Better Than False Lashes two part mascara, the Lorac Pro Palette 2 and Anastasia's Lash Genius waterproofing topcoat.

Such a breathtaking spring look! I have to try the mascara-I’m fair-skinned with pink and blue undertones, and purple mascara is surprisingly subtle and flattering for my coloring! Purple is also my favorite color! 💜

The mascara made your lids look a very soft pink. It's very pretty. I really need that concealer now! None of mine are lightweight and sheer. Thank you for doing this for us!
Try the blush on your eyes as a sheer wash sheen with lighter eye looks (like this one, or w basic winged liner). I had the same results as you on the cheeks (similar coloring) and ended up using it on my eyes and it worked better that way! ♥️♥️
I just bought that old L’Oréal lumi glow palette in Moon kissed. EmilyNoel has been using it so much lately. That first shade is so perfect!! It’s this highlighter that isn’t gold, rose gold, yellow, pink or champagne. Lol. It’s not shimmery either nor a beige color. It’s light and powered but just makes the cheeks glow. My best friend is getting remarried in Sept and I’m thinking of my makeup already. I just want my cheeks to glow. It’s so pretty! Also the L’Oréal signature gloss lippie in Be Captivating. It’s such a lovely soft pink that would look pretty w anything.
I love the L’Oréal blush because of my acne scars (I don’t wear foundation because my skin breaks out easily) it doesn’t emphasize anything and looks so subtle and pretty on my skin!
I picked up that Maybelline concealer on a whim a few weeks ago, not even knowing it was new... And it's my new favourite!! It looks so light and beautiful under my 36 year old eyes and it never creases on my dry skin. Love it!

Omg obsessed with the violet mascara ...definitely getting this bc I have brunette hair with dark brown eyes and I wear plum eyeliner a lot in the spring and summer with a bronzer crease and completely changes my life for a quick easy beauty look...I love ❤ you so much and so glad you are doing great with what brings you joy and it shows...I wish I had the confidence maybe one day ❤

If someone remembers the old Blush Delice from L'oréal, my aunts swear the True Match blush it's the same product. I was a baby back then but they let me play with their makeup sometimes and I remember these blushes smelled amazing. Recently I bought a True Match and I think the smell is identical.

Hey Allie! Love your makeup case set, I may get one for a friend's birthday gift coming up next week. They won't work for me, though, bc I have cleared time in my mornings to enjoy the luxury of being able to do my makeup in natural daylight and fresh air at a local park. It makes a huge difference! So I use an oversized insulated lunch tote to keep my "magic" stuff in. Just one thing: your complexion is so lovely with the soft pastels! Even when you've done a dark, steely grey eye, your pretty look still comes through. So please promise that you'll never go goth or campy-vampy! I got both the green and purple L’Oréal mascaras and I love them. I also have the new blue mascara from Thrive Causemetics. I love colored mascaras. I have the turquoise and the lavender ones from Colourpop as well. Oh and I have a Gold and a Silver one that I got off of Wish that I use on the tips of my top lashes if I just want a pop of something.
You should try a lash primer (one of those white/pinkish ones) every time before you apply colorful mascara. It makes the color pop so much better its magical 🤩
I just bought from the Sephora collection a bright pink blush in Date Night. Omg it’s so pretty!! Plus it will be on sale soon when they start their sale. I don’t think it’s a dupe for Persona in Bubble but it does have that pop of pink!
Another great video! When I was a teenager and young ad, I wore Charlie blue mascara. I was so sad when they stopped making it. I did pick up the burgundy one you wore today after you mentioned it a few weeks. I love the color but I don't love the formula. Enjoy the rest of the weekend!!
I tried the L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Orginial Washable Bold Eye Mascara in Cobalt Blue and it was my favorite blue mascara. Violet and Deep Green I have to pick all three shades up.
Allie, I LOVE colored mascaras! When I was in high school (my 50th reunion is next month!!), Maybelline came out with the first colored mascara. It was this darkish electric blue! I loved it! I would wear my normal black mascara & just tip my lashes in the blue. It was sooo cool! If you looked from the side it looked like my lashes were glowing blue! Good times & great memories! I think I'm going to have to give that violet a try! I think it'll look good with my "baby blue" eyes!

I actually really like the purple mascara. I used to have purple hair and feel like that’s a fun way to add a color pop without being as as permanent has hair dye. Fun.

All about drugstore makeup at the moment. I’ve been really dissatisfied with the last few of my Sephora/Ulta purchases, and I hate the hassle of returning products, so throwing some cash at affordable makeup has been worth it. I’m in love with Revlon’s and Maybelline’s cream shadows. And L’Oreal’s Lash Paradise mascara in Dark Navy has been fun, too.

That mascara takes me back. I didn't start wearing make up til I was 16. My first trip was with $20 to cvs. Came out with electric blue mascara and eyeliner. And a Maybelline pallette that contained purple blue pink and white eyeshadow pink blush and a rose lipstick. My mom didn't wear makeup. So I had to teach myself. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. I forgot how much I love color mascara.
Hi Allie, I was in Walmart this morning and I picked up the L’Oreal unbelievablabrow, a great product and a re-purchase. I like lighter shades for spring. I recently purchased a pink Clinique blush pop and a coral nudestix. I usually live in IT cosmetics cc cream as my foundation during the warmer months. It’s such an easy product and I don’t need any concealer and it gives me an extra dose of sunscreen. I enjoy your channel very much because you do make up like a normal person.
