I visited some estate sales this weekend & got some really cool vintage and antiques. We also had to hit up a couple thrift stores. Lots of cottagecore, fairycore and shabby chic decor.

grandma style is the best style and no-one will convince me otherwise. Everything you got is soo cute! I recently bought a grandma style lampshade.... i don't have a lamp 😂

Grandma’s have the best taste imo haha. Whenever I go yard sailing I specifically like to go to the retirement neighborhoods because they always have amazing things for sale. They’re also so nice to chat with ❤️🥰 makes me miss my grand parents 💔

I love this! I’ve had a lot of good luck finding ornate/vintage style lamps at Goodwill. A lot of the lamps there don’t have their shades so I definitely recommend checking them out if the Goodwills in your area are anything like the ones by me :D

@@DressMeUpScotty I went to the end of an estate sale near me last summer. A lot was picked over but there were still three shoe boxes full of the woman’s old sewing notions etc. She kept all of the spare buttons packets off of her clothes and even labeled them so she could remember which garment they belonged to. Seeing that glimpse of the woman who previously owned these was endearing and made me want to make sure I got good use out of her old sewing supplies 😊

GrandmaCore needs to be a style. Just lots of cute, unique, mismatched furniture and ultimate coziness with lots of cardigans, jumpers and blankets!

I know what you mean, when we cleaned out my grandma's house when she died I picked out a framed embroidered floral bouquet and a drawing of a really cool sailing ship. At a garage sale I impulse bought a canvas with a few blue feathers on it.

A corset over that robe will look awesome! I have a couple of those houses, one is a tea house and the other is a craft barn!! They were given to me by a friend when she cleaned out her mom’s house after she passed away. One has no markings and the other has a made in China sticker on the bottom.

I’m in Sacramento CA. I tend to drive around the surrounding area and try different places. The estate sale from this video was in South Sacramento. I don’t normally go that way but that particular estate sale was amazing!

For the frames with no hooks, you could use a picture handing set with different sized saw tooth and hooks and super glue them to the back. Love you aesthetic and your hair is so cute!

If you don’t have a picture hanging set you could bend a pop tab and super glue it on there too! I’ve had to do that with some frames I’ve thrifted and never had an issue.

Yeah I was really impressed! It definitely doesn’t have the depth of field that my camera has but it’ll be good for in-between videos.
