I purchased the cheapest fan I could find just out of curiosity to see how bad it was. By no surprise, it's pretty bad. On the other hand, the box was surprisingly well translated and didn't have any comical material on it, which is disappointing.
I reviewed the listing again and it does specifically state that the battery is not included.
