I love how Shmee just buys whatever he wants. He just loves, appreciates the history behind it and then just buys it and actually put some miles on it. Well done Shmee, many years and counting.
I am convinced shmee has the most meaningful and unique collection of cars in all of youtube; you can tell every car has a story behind it for him 🇯🇲 love the content shmee big up
That’s funny. Someone hacked my account to bid on that car, I managed to get the team to lock my account. The bid was made at below £4000 so no effect on the outcome. Well done that great little car
Fun fact: there was another Abarth courtesy car edition based on the 695 Biposto, called the Rosso Oficine and painted in Rosso Corsa too. iirc only 99 exist.
@@Shmee150 i remember them as being Rosso Corsa but to be honest, looking back at the pics it does seem a bit darker. Maybe a mandela effect on my behalf then ;) and I do agree the 'regular' Abarth with the 430 Scud stripes was cooler visually and probably a better allround daily driver than a Biposto!
Brought my wife for Christmas a 695 Tributo Ferrari...lol. carbon bits etc. engine remapped. Carbon fiber everywhere. Forged intercooler. Uprated pulleys. Forged actuator. Got it to 245 bhp from the 180 hp 1.4. she was made up. Went out Christmas morning in her pjs. I hid it in the garage and she thought it was a red truck V8 as the record Monza exhaust is mental 😂😂😂😂😂😂. Great video.
Tim this is wonderful for the channel. I'm an older aged subscriber and hypercar after hypercar can leave me cold. You're enthusiam for older, more modest vehicles keeps me coming back. Thank you for the wonderful journeys you provide.
I love the true burst of happiness wining the auction ! So natural, and feels almost intimate to be that close to you on this process ! Reminds me the first time you gave a look at that blue DBS on the Shmeuseum channel, we all knew you would need it ! 😂👍
@@mukeshvijayvergia9619 You’re blowing it way out of proportion. You are claiming 100% increase over claimed. It is 5% at best including the cars which have been rebuilt and gotten a new VIN.
Bro, 70 mai saved me countless times. Asian friends recommended it to me and finally pulled the plug and it was well worth it that I installed it to my other car.
I’ve had mercs, skylines, and currently own a mk5 supra - about a year ago I bought an abarth 595 comp to take to the Nurburgring for fear of ruining the supra and let me tell you the abarth has brought back my love of driving. Go kart !
You should see the "craters" we have in South Africa😂😂 Edit: You must come to South Africa again! People will be surprised if they see what cars we have here!
You went somewhere a while back which had one in their collection. There was more actual Ferraris, but one of these also and it was there when I learnt about the whole courtesy car thing. You explained what you said in the start of this video, but back then and it never left my mind.
DAMMMM!!! you didn't mention you bought your new car from Near 'New York' !!!! Im guessing you just unloaded it to show on the video at Langrick Station truck stop!!! if you had known it was ok you could of taken it to Cadwell park near louth # mini uk nurburgring!!!
Shame they didn't disclose things like the boot not opening. Not something a dealer would get away with. Cool car though, had my eye on them for a while 😎
trying to catch up and watch every video released, nice to sit back and enjoy the show ! and the offer on dashcam, too good to not jump on it - highly appreciated ...let's get safer on the roads 🤗 😎
Nice!! I was deciding between one of these or a mk8 fiesta St. I ended up getting the ST and I love it! What're your thoughts on the St? I suppose you would just rather have a focus rs? 😅
Yep, the tailgate wiring loom is a weak point. Took my daughter's one to bits as the high level brake light stopped working (there's 7 or 8 wires in there plus the hose for the rear washer) and found 2 broken wires and 3 more partly stripped. Bad design I think :( Not hard to repair but annoying.
Almost two years ago I was in an accident on the 401 in Toronto. A semi changed lanes into me, turned me in front of it and pushed me a couple hundred meters sideways down the road. If it wasn't for my front and rear filming dashcam I would have been held at fault but video showed him coming into my lane.
Been keeping an eye on 595's to run me and the dog about this summer, still holding crazy prices for what they are. This vid won't help! Please delete :-D
We had an Alfa Romeo Giulietta QV Maserati Dealers car (one of only 50! ) in grigio with dark brown interior a few years ago. Unfortunally we sold it for a Grand Cherokee
It’s an Abarth sold in a Ferrari Spec. Please stop calling it a baby Ferrari. It’s not badged as a Ferrari and it doesn’t say Ferrari on the V5. It’s not like an Aston Cygnet which was badged.
Not a fan from a buyers perspective that the auction clock gets reset again after every bid made, one of the greatest auction feelings is when you wait for the clock to hit around 5 seconds and then put your max bid in and snipe all the other bidders. Obviously this is way way better for the seller but for me it takes away a lot for the fun for the bidders while also raising the price of sale for sure. As with anything it’s good for one and not so much for another.
Shmee even though he has high end cars and also has a eye on collectables to add to his collection. Amazing contence and the pink and red theme until the next upload, don't forget to warm up those tyres.. Be safe be well.
The point in auctions is not to instantly go to a high number. Even if he has a 296, he still gradually bid until you're the one on top of the auction. Why spend more on something when he can save a bit?
