Same I was so excited about getting one, worse part is that it's even banned from Play Store so you have to sideload the app, that's a big no-go from security perspective.

@@TomashGhzegovsky That was one of my big hesitations when it came to deciding which one to buy; the GoPro 12 or the Osmo 4. I felt really iffy having to side-load the app.

@@Matt_Dylan insta360 is a brand and they indeed have 360 cameras too, but my question was about their model Ace Pro which is not an 360 camera, it's an action camera.

It sounds better when you record your audio separately anyways. So buy whatever mic you want and clap to sync up the audio track on your camera with your microphone.

Do you have any problems with the app, I see a lot of bad reviews where all the footage doesn’t download

@1ux.1ifts so far no, but havnt used it everday. You can just take the card out and use a card reader to download but the app eliminates that, if it works?😀

Using an SD card reader is the best way to transfer files.

Nothing looks that good in lowlight. In a downtown setting it will look okay but anything less than that, you basically need night vision. Or an A7SIII. Thanks for watching! Like and subscribe!

You're not wrong. The thumbnail says it all. This is the next step up from your cell phone. But I really don't regret buying the FX30. Or this fancy lens. I have put them to good use though. And it was only after I used my cell phone for 3 years making hundreds of videos. If I had known about DJI, I probably would never have bought the FX30. And I probably wouldn't have bought a $500 11 mm lens either.

You cant fight physics. Except if you have an iPhone 15. The sensor is bigger on the Action 4, however the extremely wide angle can make your photo look distorted without the high computing power found in cell phones. I'm not saying it's a bad idea, I'm just saying that you will only be able to take very wide angle photos. That means warped edges. You aren't gonna beat a cheap camera with a real lens and it definitely doesn't compete with the iPhone. For video, yes. For photos, I would think about getting a Pixel or iPhone. Samsung can go straight to hell. If you do buy a DJI Action 4, please use my link in the description.

Samsung warranty department destroys equipment instead of repairing it. There's been stuff on the news and they destroyed my monitor display instead of repairing it. Fuck Samsung. I'll never buy any product from them again.

Edit: The action 4 is half the price. That's an easy choice for me. Buy this camera unless you absolutely need a 360 camera. I can recommend the action 4. I can't comment on any products from insta360 because I haven't used them or had any contact with them. The reason I would choose the DJI is because they have been around for a long time and I've had a really good experience with every product that I've touched from them. If I needed a 360 camera then I would go with the insta360 because I don't think there are any competitors. If you do decide to buy this camera, use my link in the video description please. I think my definition of lowlight is different than what you're thinking. To me lowlight means that I need a flashlight or night vision. Even the A7siii isn't going to handle that right? Most of the time they only update minor things about the next camrea and all the bugs and updates with firmware they gotta go through once a new camrea release is sometimes a pain. But I appreciate your input for sure.

I have a 3 and 4 for moto vlogging, great combo as the 3 would be fine for most users, I even still use the original Action.

@@steve4321able I really don't know. I opened the app and my camera doesn't automatically connect. It doesn't automatically update firmware. It does auto detect if the camera is on, so in theory they could brick your device. It really didn't register as a problem when I bought the camera but I am sympathetic to the criticism.
