A duster or a micro fiber cloth is pretty handy I’ve used a hand towel. 😊 I’d recommend it personally. There’s some trade offs if lights an issue. Investing in a screen can get pricey but investing in some decent shades is usually cheaper 😎
i'm living in a dusty area too. Bought a cheap projector where the entire projection module is not sealed. Definitely gonna need some cleaning every few months (involves some disassembly too). If u wanna save the hassle just go with something like Wanbo T6 Max, or any other projector that has the entire projection module sealed. Cleaning exterior is fine actually, just get a cheap coffee brush(or any brush meant for dusting) and brush off the lens, then use a damp cloth to wipe the rest of the body.
Our accent wall is painted with the behr paint (we have a gray bedroom) and I go right to wall BUT - I have had a miserable time with now 3 different JMGO projectors, all needing RMA over a short span, and JMGO not footing the bill for any of it... I would recommend steering clear of their projectors - or being hopeful you don't go through what I did. I am doing a video follow-up on the whole mess of a situation that it was.
I think with their lamp issues they have adjusted them. I have a negative post video adventure I plan to share. I went through 2 O1s and an O1 pro. It took months to get ‘most’ of my money back.
@@123neel And they will probably require you to pay the return shipping unless you went through Amazon (I'm curious so let me know I gave them hell about the way they do things).
Well, I plan on a follow up video soon. The lamp in mine went out so they sent a replacement that was defective. I told them ‘this isn’t great’ and after that one I decided to pay the difference and buy the pro version…literally just this morning after a few months with the pro model the fan died and now it auto shuts off. It could just be my very bad luck with these, or that they have bigger problems across the family of products. I’m likely going to request a full refund and move one rather than continue messing with these. They are great…when they work as intended.
@@maliknexus You don’t want the one I have! I’m about to send it back and get my money back. I’m sadly disappointed with this company being 0/3 in reliability.
@@EightSixMatt what are you going to get when you return it. It was the coolest thing I ever seen on RU-vid but what you told me it's just sucks. It's difficult to get one in that form factor.
@@maliknexus I'll probably end up going with amzn.to/3SGC83b I use the predecessor in my living still (got it in 2016ish) I'll do some digging around for other things - but will likely do that one.
