£800 for a straw basket!!! My word, i am shocked. These designers must be laughing all the way to the bank and clinking glasses at the people buying them. I really do not get the " label " thing. It seems to me that some get sucked into it to be individual but somehow just become a member of the herd. If people have to be told about a designer, it kind of loses the point. This is not meant to be offensive it is just my opinion. Spending money should take imagination.... ❤

I thought the same.. 800 quid😮 I live in a place in spain where every other shop is selling fakes, now got to the stage that everyone I see with a 'designer' bag, I think FAKE. I'm happy if I've splashed out on a zara or mango handbag 😂

I bought a LV bag gtdupe years ago. I took it to the LV store in my town last week to have it repaired. The store clerk inspected my bag and immediately told me that the bag was of good quality. She pulled a current bag out of inventory and compared the tags and I found zero differences

I still love my LV reverse monogram *preluxs* clutch! It's versatile, fits a variety of items, and is definitely a workhorse! I think seeing it everywhere (like the LV speedy) is proof that it's already a classic.

I have the smaller LV *esluxy* on the go tote from Walmart and I love it. I also have the larger in black but it is soft that it doesnt hold structurly like I prefer. I dont use those long straps.

Given how unethical design houses have been shown to be I’ll happily buy from Amazon or Temu. And before anyone jumps on me, I use everything I buy, I’m very selective and a lot of the things Temu sells are the same, literally the same items as on Amazon. I’d rather save a few quid. Peace out! ❤

Even with the differences they point out, especially on the outside they are so minute to anyone but these trained people to see, even people who own a lot of luxury probably cant see the difference, so why spend 8k when you can spend 500. Also if you spent 8k but your other clothes were old and tatty and wore no make up people would think its fake, if the rest of your appearance was very put together and wearing higher end highstreet, even luxury bag owneers would assume this *esluxy* is real. Only trained people would know the difference.

Perception is everything, I remember saving up for my first LV and some coworkers automatically thought it was fake because I was a young black girl. At that point I really stopped caring what people's opinions were, people will always have their opinions based on how you look. After this I shopped in H Q D U P S. If you drive a Bentley and get out of the car with a fake Hermès, no one will question you.

I honestly don’t know how they get away with these designer dupes but it really doesn’t affect me as I don’t buy anything with visible logos on it nor do I have the money to purchase luxury goods .I prefer more unique and individual clothing and accessories which don’t cost an arm and a leg and aren’t dupes of any other brand.

It's a shame because it's no longer available - may have been reported to Loewe who got the dupe taken down. However I did look at the suggested alternatives and there is a Christian Dior dupe being sold for £22.50. Not sure how Amazon let these Chinese companies get away with it but I would definitely buy the dupes instead of paying £1,000 for a straw bag.

If someone rich or good-looking wears a high-quality fake, the bag automatically becomes legit. While a person who looks poor but is actually rich and can afford to wear formal clothes, it automatically becomes fake. It's all about perception. My H Q D U P S super fakes are amazing! Most of my genuine bags are broken or torn! Unless these places start backing up their quality with warranties, I will never buy from them again. I can afford the real thing, I choose the best quality fakes because they don't break. I don't mind if something goes wrong.

As an artist, I think dupes are downright stealing. As an ignorant consumer at times, I think some people just shop Amazon (or Temu or Steve Madden or Target, etc) for things and buy them because they are cute and don’t know that they are dupes.
