Watched Steve's video and he hit the nail on the head. He wants to learn your guys video style. Nothing against Steve, local hero for me, but SRC's filming style and quality is second to none!!! Almost the same video from both channels. You can see how well you tell a story and how the editing is top notch on this vid. Great work!!!
@@Kingbuzz92I mean Jackie kind of learned on her own now as well you could tell every video she was getting better... Brand racing engines to his videos
I 💥💥💥 I MUST SAY! This is the BEST episode yet! I LOVE the tour in Steve's shop (even though I watch all his videos...). It's a fresh perspective for the channel, and with Mr Bill asking so many in depth questions it gives the less knowledgeable side of the audience a chance to learn! I vote you guys do MORE tours of automotive performance companies! Proud of ALL of you guys! Allison too!
And it’s awesome to see Uncle Bob get to go on a field trip of this caliber is just epic as well. It’s incredible to just sit back and be that “fly on the wall” and listen to a discussion between true professionals and trend setters like Uncle Bob & Steve Morris. It’s the good information that you’ll never hear or read from manufacturers or their brochures, but it’s the type of info that will change your entire program and could be the difference between consistent winning & losing. It’s also crazy and hard to comprehend that turbo screens can be responsible for up to 150hp but you can’t argue with the difference that Tommy saw on the test pass!! Good luck Tommy!!! I hope you do well with it buddy!! Be safe out there guys, have fun, and go win some money!!!
@@shoresharp8349 you don't have to use them for drag n drive.. you basically can have a billet monster that's water cooled and has a longer life span than a filled block.. I think it would make sense for src especially when all parts are interchangeable.. if they had either engine from Steve and had them in the 3 racecars the amount of spare parts you would need is minimal..
Grandma Vicky is great funny and supports you kids 1000000% Bob was in Heaven drooling, well we all were. Steve is such a nice cool guy, great to see you all working together.
Wyatt says to cut it off boys time for bed. Love how he’s filling out and looking more like Mr Clean😂. Poor Uncle Bob and all this spring pressure technology! Great video!
Did anyone else not hear a damn thing Billy or Tommy said at the end of the video when Wyatt was on the screen he's the cutest little fella I just keep watching him and smiling ear to ear thank you Wyatt you made my day!😊
Steve is a pretty great guy. Not many will come out and say that they don’t know much about a certain thing but he did. He’s willing to put the time in and learn. That’s again for another great video.
Some louvers in the hood can make a big difference in drag and front end lift. I did a string test many years ago on my autox car to see where the low pressure areas are and added louvers there and it made a HUGE difference.
It’s awesome how all the channels I’m watching are interweaving!? Can’t wait to see where it goes? And I knew that Steve was taking editing ideas from Bill? All that billet is so dam nice!!!
I remember Shawn saying he blocked off the grill on his 55 years ago when he was rubbing on that street car class in okc and he said it picked up 10 mph, so I’d say that guy ain’t pulling your leg. It seems to be worth trying.
There's a lot of knowledge at SM he's definitely not afraid to try new ideas and that's what makes him the person he is. Thanks for sharing the updates. Wyatt is taking it all in and looking forward to the day he puts his knowledge to the ground. God bless and as always be safe.
When I watched Steve's video on your visit to his shop, I saw Billie holding that manifold and said he wanted it. Little did I know the deal had already been made before the visit.
Steve saying he takes qui’z how y’all make videos speaks volumes on the quality on the content, and the kind of guy he is. Never met the guy but he seems like a good guy.. Wyatt stole the show..
Steve is one cool dude. And he knows his stuff. Would love to see a Steve morris engine in the nova or the new Camaro Talk about a bad boy. And Billy asking about the coyote stuff would absolutely love to see you go built coyote please oh please
Nice one. Thank you once again for sharing. Steve Morris. He definitely has it going on, and it was nice of him to have you guys tour the shop. Seen the baby with grandma and, in the end, was nice, also kind of emotional next generation right there with dad and uncle love you guys good luck this weekend.
Now for the next 20 years will be the best times in your lives. You have some stability, security, knowledge, and family to live a balanced life. Keep moving forward.
For what Steve Morris has accomplished he could not be any more humble. Just comes across as this is who I am a real down to earth person. Dudes amazing.
thanks for showing up at Steve's place pretty cool you shared , cant wait for the flacon make some new moves ' and the truck just has gone from bad ass to nasty I know its lot work get to go down the track the way you want after making changes .
Tommy's face when he came back from the adjustments made !!! He didn't believe it until he drove it!! " Billy you gotta drive it "... Wyaat is liking the camera big time!!!
You guys and steve morris are the whole reason why i built a blow through carb sbc set up.. been watching both Channels since they started.. good stuff all the way around.
I think its awesome that Billy's no longer "afraid" to try new stuff with the setup. It will eventually make you faster. Plus thats how you really learn the most on setups. Totally different racing but we raced go karts on dirt with my boys for years. For a long time i just did what others said, or what had worked in the past. I was scared to change, afraid I'd make it worse. But eventually I started making changes and really learning how to adjust for different conditions. Another good video. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for bringing out the baby small things made me remember when I was taking care of my baby girl working on my race car her mother was working nights she was so worried now she is 43 years old almost made my eyes leak
So cool listening to the shop talk with guys that know a little bit about a bunch of it. Very interesting. I guess if your around it all the time you are going to learn a thing or two. I watch all the content. Thanks for letting us see into your worlds.
Billy ur a great father start him out young n he will follow ur foot steps buddy ❤❤❤keep up the hard work u n Tommy hopefully I get to meet u both someday
The turbo screens should have almost no effect up (like 10hp) to 1000hp, I think blocking off the grille coupled with the screens allowed the turbos to pull the air into them rather then flooding the engine bay with turbulent air… Steve is awesome ✅ great video 🤜🏼🤛🏼🔦💨🤘🏼🤘🏼
I’d bet meeting the steve morris crew was some great inspiration to keep learning and doing more, what an amazing asset to keep your projects better than the other guys
I've learned a lot about newest components from SM helps watching uncle Bob and Bill and your father-in-law billy and Tommy has come a long way great race team and close friends
Pretty damn cool seeing you guys at Steve’s shop. I live about 30 mins away from the shop and drive by it a lot on my way to work. Always something cool to see outside.
Digging the videos! Steve is the man! Billy I’ve helped your brother and Allison, you or your dad need something holler and I’ll do what I can! Would love to help tune stuff as well or see tunes/data logs… I have more knowledge than hands on so seeing what you are doing would help me as well.
Adding Bellmouths to the turbos helps a ton too...ive seen screened turbos with bellmouths pick up 50hp on a warm engine 700hp mustang...and 180hp with screens off, bellmouths, and fully cooled off
23:30 i wish we could get a podcast with engine builders/racers/trans builders etc to spread their knowledge on everything that would be great id watch.... so much information in their heads.. it would also be a great opportunity for discussions like the ones in the video between builders
Great video Steve Morris is amazing. The guy is so intelligent and give you the shirt off his back. so glad you’re sorting the falcon out extra 150 hp. Hell yeah love your little boy in the videos. Give them hell at Magnolia.
I don't know how long Steve's been Building engines but I'm 55 years old and I've heard of Steve Morris many many many many many many years ago he has been Building engines and been in business for a very long time what a great guy
20:28 the damn headers make it look like a dead spider lol. Thing is im just as afraid of a dead spider as i am a live spider lol. Don’t make any difference to me. But this engine just looks ridiculously badass. That thing is crazy.
