Does this LEGO set stand up to the standards set by Walt Disney himself? Is it a fitting tribute to the man behind the mouse? Let's find out together as I review the LEGO Disney Walt Disney Tribute Camera Set. This is set 43230, contains 811 pieces, and was released in September 2023. To be honest, this set is fine. I really just bought this for the new official Walt Disney minifigure. LEGO Bambi and Dumbo are alright too.

That "BAM"bi pun was... wow. My jaw hit the floor. That was brutal, but also hilarious. I got this set for Christmas and I'm so excited about it. It was a lot of fun to put together (though I think the lack of color made it a little less fun than it could have been). I also LOVE the multiplane camera. I'm wondering if there is a way to build it so it's actually usable, so you can move the panes up and down like the real thing. I'm a very casual LEGO fan, so I tend to not be able to go off-book much, but I'm sure there's a way! And I love the compartment. And the strip of film! Only real thing I was disappointed by in this set was the lack of Aladdin representation.... but wait I have like 5 Jasmine LEGO figures. I could just put her all over! LET'S GO. IMAGINATION.

Nice review Josh, the EVF is a nice touch that LEGO did on the retro crank style cam. I want this to go with my VIP/GWP way back, kodak film style camera and the upcoming IDEAS Polaroid camera.

You didn’t buy this set just for one minifugure so stop. If that was the case you would have just got on bricklink and spent the 20 or so dollars for the figure
