@redpandamining awesome 👏 you sorted it, base on the way you sorted it, it seems the miner always try to connect to the pool first before allowing local connections, by blocking its pool connection local service got started, yeah that sounds like the software you running still in development, congratulations 🎉 and welcome back to the KAS party!
@@dogoshicatamoto269 lol since it's like literally the first thing he says in the video, didn't think people would go down to the comments before even starting to watch the video
I have a KS0 and it has a web gui. I am mining to a pool not listed on their manual and it has had no issue. I even switched between solo and pool mining without issue.
If you call Support again and they do another remote session, install a key logger on your machine to get that password. You can also try logging all commands in Putty to a text file but they might check for that and turn off logging but they won't check for a key logger!!!
Hello RPM, thanks to posting that video I have similar problem with my KS0 original,. I watched your video several times and I noticed you had iceriver loged in inot the miner with SSH but they didnt give you login or password. But looks like they used "root" as a login name , when i try SSH and root name its says wrong login cridential without even giving the option for password. Did you figured out any other way to login and replace boot image via micorsd etc? it looks like i have boot image missing after wrong firmware update attempt.
I think it's time to take it apart.. It's interesting that it has a Xilinx board in it, maybe there is an internal mem card slot or eth port to possibly jack into.
I didn't know the KS2 didn't have a web GUI? Maybe your KS2 is an early test model? It's weird because on Ice River's website the KS1 and KS2 manual is exactly the same... I'd be willing to bet the final production models will be able to access the web GUI... your KS2 is just.. how shall we say "special" LOL Ice River, feel free to send me a new production model KS2 so I can verify!!
Yes his was from the development April batch, GUI was not ready at that time, however I think if they give him the production software he would be set.
Hello, Please help, after installing the OC firmware I decided to go back to the factory one, but not through it, now I don’t have access to webgui, but I know that it has port 48699 open, please tell me the login and password from the factory?
I suppose if you hook KS2 and your computer onto a regular router... not connected to internet... would do the same trick. An old regular router you may have laying around.
I have been tracking profit on KAS with these miners and the profit is dropping sharply by the time the the end of August batch arrives Profit will be like a Bitmain L7
Don’t believe anything you see. Remember he is the only one who got this thing suddenly. No normal person would buy this kind of investment of 25k in this type of coin. WAIT IT OUT UNTIL THERE IS REAL PROOF FROM MORE PEOPLE.
