Fingers crossed it's not too big a fix needed... With all the foreshadowing I spent the time in the drive-along on the edge of my seat waiting for a catastrophic bang!
Sorry about your engine. Thank goodness you're a mechanic. Question if you don't mind was thinking about getting the Passat GT VR6. I love the VR6 engine, owned a 1997 Passat VR6, 2001 GTI VR6, and the original R, 2004 R32, which I lost to a flood 😢. Who makes cams for the 3.6 VR6? Thanks!
Currently working through that as I type. Those driving clips were from today, the repairs were from over the weekend. Something went wrong and I’m in the middle of figuring it out. Hopefully will have good news soon!
Great video bro, don’t know why you deleted the gate keeping video, but we glued in forever. I was wondering if you could help me with my swap, the dq250 I’m replacing with the R32 transmission, I cannot find a wiring diagram for the speed sensor that’s in back of the R32 transmission so I can attempt to re wire… help? LOL I have the the diagram for the Passat GT it’s a 4 pin connector and the R32 is a 3 pin connector double help LOL
Manual swap? The mk4 02M speed sensor isn’t going to be used, your car gets its engine speed from the crank position sensor. Just leave the 02M speed sensor bolted in so fluid doesn’t leak out, but nothing will be wired to it.
@@Ninety4co ohhhhhhhhhh and yes manual swap and I need to ask more questions before I rush out and buy lol damn but thanks big bro I know your gonna fix the issues that’s going on we always 👀👀👀👀👀💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
Hope the rough idle while on the drive is nothing serious. A video on a daily is a MUST, we need it and the daily sounds awesome. Is it straight piped?
Currently in the middle of diagnosing it. It’s throwing timing codes despite the timing being dead on (verified that again). I’ll figure it out! And noted! Yes the wagon is straight piped. Still way quieter than the VR despite it having 2 cats, a res, and a muffler
