Really appreciate your transparency by saying that you don't normally shop at nasty gal but got some stuff from them, I know it was small but a lot of time youtubers pretend that they absolutely love every brand that sends them stuff and have done for life, when you know they haven't. I don't know, small thing but really appreciated it.

Brooke! Go to your student disability center and they can give you help to do papers, finals and assistant with notes etc. I broke my wrist my junior year of college! I’m so sorry, get better soon. You’re a gal on the go!

Sorry about your wrist, I've been there (multiple time) and you'll figure life out with a cast and there'll be ups and downs but you'll do great! Don't worry and just talk to professors about the writing thing and normally they are all understanding. And don't worry about the New York thing, there will be more trips and everyone still loves you! 💖 it gets better, I promise 😊

i sprained and bruised my elbow at a party where i fell off a stool last november and it sucked!!! luckily my bf was a good sport and took care of me for two months. Things that really helped me is wearing sweats/ loose pants where you can use one hand, loose shirts, have someone meal prep for you so you just have to warm it up, get one of your roomies to put your hair in a ponytail its the easiest to maintain (my bf did this and his weren't the best but he still tried lol), and really just do not even try to move your hurt arm at all!!! After a few days or weeks when you learn to use your other arm it'll be better but it still sucks having to use one hand

Literally broke my right ankle in sixth grade and a couple of years later fracture a bone near my right ankle haha, two summers wasted basically. Take care of yourself Brooke, love your vlogs as always!!❤️

When you make your final job decision, will you walk us through your offers and things you considered when making the decision? Obviously not the specific companies or like salary, but maybe company culture, location, etc? I have a feeling you're still going to be rocking it even with a broken wrist! I broke my ankle last year sooooo badly and had to have surgery on it so I feel you. I had to go around campus on a scooter bc I was not about to go around on crutches. So happy you have people around you who are willing to help and care. It sucks asking for help but it makes everything easier esp on your mental health!! Hope you have a smooth recovery (which you will!!)

I broke my ankle badly like a year and a half ago and got surgery too and I was just starting my final year of college but I had to take the year out cause I couldn't commute to college. It sucks right! Hope you've recovered well, and Brooke I hope you recover well too!

You explaining how you broke your wrist on roller blades was exactly how I broke my wrist on a longboard I got so scared of hitting my head that I only put out my left arm and completely shattered my wrist bones! Hope you recover fast!

I broke my wrist last summer and it honestly sucked. even the simplest thing like putting up your hair is difficult and it’s ok to feel sorry for yourself for something that isn’t “that big of a deal.” also I randomly lost like 15lbs when I broke my wrist not sure the reasoning for that but it was one positive of the situation lol

Girl I had something so similar happen to me last year, 3 weeks before I finished college I randomly fell down a flight of stairs and tore ligaments in my ankle! Ended up in a boot for 5 weeks 🙃 I know it’s rough and you’ll have to adapt a lot but you can do it! 💕

Just an idea because you mentioned your potential new workplace isn’t super formal. I broke my dominate hand fingers when swimming in college and I couldn’t write either. My college had people though that came to class and took notes for me so maybe UGA has that. I understand how you feel. Goodluck!

@@brookemiccio go ahead and stock up on trash bags to put over your cast to shower bc its literally the only way! put the bag over it and i used a hair tie to keep it tight around my elbow and that worked like a charm!! feel better and keep ibeuprofen w you at all times!!!

I broke my knee and cheek bone at work and they still made me show up. I’m a cashier and they made me show up half the time just to cut my shift and I couldn’t even drive. It’s been 4 months and I still haven’t seen a doctor. Thanks workers comp. and I probably have to get surgery to remove my bone chip in between my bones.
