This has been like this for years. I used to go on and just get an inventory of scrap and toss it out to ransoms keep 1000 go back and do it again. The wheel has patterns that you can memorize.

If you get a few thousand scrap to start you can pretty reliably make as much as you want. Put a bet one 1 and if you lose you double down and put it on one again. Repeat until you hit a one and you will have all your original scrap back plus whatever you would have made from your original bet. High barrier to entry for it to be worth it but it definitely is worth it

That doesn’t make sense how they could patch it. They would either need to change the positioning of the numbers on the wheel, but no current configuration exists where one side is completely fair. Or instead some sort of predictable RNG factor to counter this, but that would make it no longer random and be able to be abused.

@@pickupmidland3523 Actually, is super easy to patch. They just have to code it properly and not lazily like they did. They just need to make it so that a cell of the wheel is randomly selected before starting the spin, and then have the wheel to force land exactly on that cell, simple as that, it would be 100% random and this trick would not be possible. Regarding pseudo-andomness, there are a lot of ways to reach almost true randomness, for example by putting into the random formula some human derived numbers like the total number of steps made by players or something like that.

That would be what we programmers call a “Seeded random” similar to stardew valley, the game events are affected by a predictable but often event so it is difficult to manipulate but still possible. If someone determined that 10687 steps resulted in the 20 being picked then they could step exactly 10687 times and then 20x their scrap every time. A more ideal random is one that passes through multiple randomization formulas back to back to back so it is near impossible to gauge the result even tho it is still technically a consistent random

@@Blackcrowfj bring 800 scrap to wheel. Bet 50 on 1. If it hits repeat. If it doesn’t hit 1 then bet 100 on 1. If it hits then start the process all over again by betting 50 on 1. If it doesn’t hit then bet 200 on 1. If it hits start all over again. If it doesn’t then bet 400 on 1. Eventually it will hit 1 and it usually doesn’t take more than 3-4 spins tops. So as long as you’re patient you can make unlimited amounts of scrap doing this. More starting funds = faster multiplying Enjoy!
