Followed you all weekend and had a brief chat in person, you were the fastest in the wet qualifying until the mechanical failure and I have the screenshots to prove it! The race looked more exciting trackside than it did on video, you, Prebble, Kelly all having a good battle in the midfield. Appreciate the effort that goes into racing, the series is loaded with characters, just as exciting as the main event. Keep plugging away and I can feel a result coming before the season end. Going to try to get to Donington for further support in person. Keep the chin up!

Another great vid. I really do enjoy the commentary over the race footage Al, very descriptive and get a real sense for what you are feeling. Will you be racing next season?

Don’t be so hard on yourself! We came on the Sunday. Cadwell is our “local” track and I swear it has its own climate, you just can’t call what the weather will be like.

You already said what you need to do to get a better finishes 1) lose a bit of weight. 2) be more aggressive at the start and the first two laps. I think your results are excellent considering you have these disadvantages.

I saw you struggle with the rear wheel on the BSB broadcast. I understand you want to change wheels as fast as possible, but it I had a 2008 ZX-6R and putting the rear wheel back in without taking the rear calliper of the bracket was pretty much impossible. Even with wheel bushings with an edge. Might be easier getting the wheel in.

Solid racing as always Al, I know it's racing spirit but don't be so hard on yourself. A bit of spare tyre strategy and you'll be on it 😉

Really, wanting it is a double edged sword. Ambition is like that You're a far better rider then I am, it's amazing to see you ride.

My RR is currently in the shop due to no communication with the ecu. Hopefully it's just that like you said, it dropped the coil pack, which it sounds like it did, it turns the BMW sound into a V4 sound. Hopefully it shut off all the electronics as a fail safe.

It's great to watch your race vids, I totaly understand what go3es into it, I raced at club level years ago, I know how hard you try, unfortunately I didn't really have the funds to race but you do what you have to, I finally got a VFR400 which I was fast on and was running second in the championship until I did a twisty sprint at Olivers Mount (I was in Auto 66 club) I fucked up monumentally on "farm bends", hit a tree and completely wrecked the bike, I was ok but it ended my racing due to lack of funds. Keep at it Al 👍

Hi Al. You did ride well, but you also keep bemoaning your lifestyle choices (weight). I mean this in the kindest way, but if you feel that way, and it’s getting in the way of your racing, why not lose some weight? It is possible and it doesn’t have to be hard. Look up ketogenic diet?

Unfortunately Al, Cadwell is like that, has it's own microclimate. At least you had no offs etc.

i see a lot of guys hanging of the wrong way i can be wrong only did 3 corner practise days one was assen junior but my instructors where telling me that you have to hang your top body of and not have your head in the center with your ass and legs hanging of i am a noob so these guys wil smoke me but its not what they teach me so just thinking

You rode really well but they’re small, slow bikes so the series maybe doesn’t suit your talent or weight (no offence)
