I had original 600 ninja in 85 this 400 matches and exceeds it in speed and acceleration. I love how bikes get better every year. Kawasaki the true king of power and speed
Bike had like 70 hp just over 400lbs redlined at 11 grand hit 135 or so, this bike same power same weight but more aerodynamic and higher redline so I get it at 140 or so give it some time tuned cams etc 150 will be normal for the 400 four and nothing sounds better than small bore 4 screaming.
Think this would be a good bike for a 105lb rider up in the mountains of nc? (All the roads here are like the tail of the dragon for instance). I was looking at a gsxr600 but my 2 stroke dirtbike is small but still wheelies with me, id be nervous to really learn on a 600 to be fair.
I didn't record it but i have a short on my channel of 0-140 pretty quick. 140 is the top of 5th gear, so getting to 148 in 6th is a snails pace and might need a tailwind. @@SludgedB
very awesome speed run bro! There's a video of someone comparing the top speed of the ZX4RR with Z400 and it tops to 243 km/h. Not sure if that's legit or what but you got my vote! Ride safe always!
@TBouPapasha Not sure what you said, I only speak English. My 636 is 2005, mods include the usual exhaust, power commander and quickshifter, gear indicator, stock sprockets with DID chain. The new 2024 zx6r are limited heavily from factory I believe for emissions reasons.
Oh, good to know, I ride a ninja 300 however I think in that bike is fully require to reach 6 gear, without it only reaches 142 but I think it's limited somehow, it's currently stock
@@Fee.1it was a real question, not every body Borns and live surrended by bikes, I am the unique one in my family with a sport bike and I was thinking like, dude, the zx4rr is a great bike and runs really good but why this men is not shifting up? 🤔
What 2 stroke sound? 😂 it's a 4 stroke and this was only 5th gear top speed originally it's 6 th gear top speed is 245 kmph on road and 6th gear limiter is at 253 kmph
LOL thanks was not sure, I am old fart not up on all the abbreviations got most common ones but some go over my old balding head LOL another good reason to ride bikes helmets cover the bald spot and stop head burns LOL@@wolverine1854
Wait what? 227kph already 5th gear redline? why is mine 239kph and also your 4th gear is 193kph but mine i only 3rd gear at 193kph, im a little bit confuse, my zx4RR has not been reflash or tune nor remap bro, only slip on exhaust during the time i attempted to reach top speed
Kind of wondering the same thing, I wanna look into this bike more first but I solely off my own judgment I’d say it potentially could be, the seating position does not look too uncomfortable, power wise it looks to be more forgiving than a 600. Personally I’d start with a dual sport just for first time experience gain but another factor is ride height, definitely want both your feet to at least touch the ground when stopped. All in all I’d say yeah it could be but take it nice n easy if you’re just starting of course. Ride n drive safe bro, and always wear correct riding gear 👍
For better insight check out yammie noobs video “is the Kawasaki ZX4RR a beginner motorcycle”. Learned everything I need to know real quick. But definitely worth watching.
@@tsharabi4 if you're using the 9 or newer It can. Make sure the gps is on in the gopro settings. After the settings are active in the gopro videos you record will be able to show it. To apply GPS speed go to edit the video In the app click on stickers and it will say speedometer
records meant to be broken lets see this one get broken sorry dude maybe you can tune it more and break your own record. In a year would love to see what tuners and builders can squeeze from this 400 screamer. I love this bike
Just a recommendation from older rider find a long flat straight road in country less cars less cops and much safer. Do not ask how I now these things just know I learned after a few tickets and close calls, speed is best alone or as alone as you can get on public roads.
