I Brought You Bullets. You Brought Me Your Love. The first album from My Chemical Romance. Made in New Jersey in 2002, this album tells the story of two criminals in love.
Oh yeah alcohol/pills in the opening lyrics and chorus "choices that I make" let's me live my life like this.. I recently listened to a 2002 radio interview on spaceyraygun channel where gerard said some parts were about Mikey and some were about him but it's about him telling some lady off! Don't let the door hit ya! Yknow? It's about a bad relationship
This has been my favorite MCR album for the past few months. I know EVERY lyric to EVERY song on this album. Thanks for talking about it. Totally underrated!
@@EmmanentDoom great! I can't wait ☺️ I'll be sure to follow so I can be notified of the new content. Just don't work yourself too much, remember to take some time to appreciate the small things in life. Have a great day!
Love the video! I never knew some of the stories behind these songs. My current banger has to be Headfirst for Halos, simply bc of how much of a banger it is and its overall purpose. Love this album, with all of its quirky tempos and all.
I was searching around to listen to this album one more time. I return to this album from time to time, as it holds a special place in my heart. And I found your video and I liked what you said and your opinions about this. Great points and info here.
omg this is such a good video!!! i love this album, and one of the biggest tragedies in my life is i can't find it on cd anywhere :( my favourite song is Drowning Lessons because it just feels so haunting and aggressive and beautiful. also i have this theory ive been working on for some time that where Three Cheers is from the perspective of the male demolition lover, Bullets is from the female demolition lovers perspective... it s hard to explain but it makes sense in my mind XD especially considering the lack of gendered pronouns used in most of the songs
I love this video, learned a lot from it! I was 2 in 2004 so only started listening to mcr in 2014 (in October just like u) but Bullets became my fave only after 7 years of listening, it's really beautiful and I just had to go through having a full time job and less teenage angst to get it
I don't have 1 fave Top 3 are demolition, vampires, and our lady of sorrows. I really like listening to them while I'm omw walkingqdriving somewhere and feeling the album's atmosphere
this is such a well-constructed video coming from such a small channel! i actually never knew quite a few of these things, namely being that the demolition lovers/three cheers storyline actually begins at drowning lessons. also, small nitpick about the editing but a small recommendation: maybe after introducing each song and playing the title card, play the song in the background at a lower volume, just to provide some background noise other than your voice. that’s a small thing though, i loved this video! also my favorite bullets song is headfirst for halos
Thank you for the kind words and the advice! I’ll definitely keep it in mind for future video, maybe learn about the limits of RU-vid’s copyright algorithm along the way
@@EmmanentDoom that’s true. i know how annoying youtube’s copyright system can be, and hopefully it doesn’t encroach too far on your own creative liberties or the video’s quality
I'm still waiting for the video about Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge 🥲🥲🥲🥲. This one was so good. By the way, my favorite song is Skylines and Turnstiles
please tell me u have seen one flew over the cuckoos nest bc it deff doesnt end in him escaping lol but regardless i love this album and thank u for talking about it
