The extended screaming of the survivors is the best part of this patch...uh...I mean chapter. Hearing Leon scream for a stupid amount of time is hilarious.

I really wholeheartedly believe that skull merchant would be a way more fun and beloved killer if her stealth aspects were enhanced.

I have not enjoyed any of my matches playing against The Skull Merchant, mostly because the way I've seen it played is just use the 4 drones to guard the last 4 gen. But watching SpookyLoopz's playstyle here actually makes her look fun, while still being challenging to go against

Skull merchant seems like a jack of different traits but a master at none, it seems like other "bad guys" (thanks RU-vid) are better at doing what she does, glad they are improving her at least

I've played a few games with her now after buying her with shards and ngl she's pretty fun. It feels like you're everywhere at once. I do agree with the majority of the backlash bhvr are getting for her but I do think if you save up the shards to buy her it's definitely worth it

This is my first stone seeing this skull merchant skin, her weapon is literally just a Mantis Blade from Cyberpunk 2077 lol that’s actually really cool.

I've been running Agitation, Discordance, Call of Brine and Devour Hope on this killer. Works absolute wonders.

I don’t think anyone is doubting her ability to be a lethal killer- she’s just not a fun killer to go against. Kind of like the Artist and Knight, all she’s good at it zoning. 🍅

Imagine if the drones had guns that injured the survivors with the claw trap as a bullet if they got in range. Then they would have to commit to a health state trade to disable the area denial or let you have control of one zone but they stay healthy and not marked.

I was dreading trying her after the first announcement but after playing a few games with her I can honestly say she’s a ton of fun to play, the lack of chase abilities doesn’t feel bad when you seem to always know where a survivor is

DBD discovers cyberphychosis and added in, honestly a fun idea.

she has a add on that makes survivors break pallets if they vault them while having a claw trap on them. makes loops so much easier to handle

I found that she is really effective on indoor maps, especially maps with 2 floors.

Nowhere to Hide seems unnecessary, but Trail of Torment is surprisingly legit on Skully. Turns out people don't wanna step in your drones when they don't know where you are. Go figure.

I'm gonna say it so you guys remember, this happened before, having 2 bad chapters back to back happened when Silent hill got released, that year had twins, trickster and blight at release, let's not forget the past, and hopefully it won't repeat again

ending sums it all up perfectly lol. this stealthy build gave em both "myers strached mirror on building map type of jump scare" at the end. Renato purely paniced dead hard after watching nea go down lol. he coulda got out if waited the killer swing cooldown and then "E" but perfectly showing off the build haha great build

What i think would be great is that. When a survivor is in the drones radius, and healthy, he gets the exposed status. Is the survivor injured and in the drones radius, he gets another status (maybe slowed down, or maybe oblivious.. who knows). This way the drones "effect" wouldn't be rendered completely useless.

I tried this build && actually LOVE it! I swapped out trail for brutal strength just to tear through pallets / walls and it is working really well!

Personally, I enjoy using Hex: Blood Favor and brutal strength. Survivors are starting to learn that being exposed from the drones is sometimes not bad enough to deter them from gens, so when I go to chase them, they like to predrop pallets, which is where brutal strength comes in. When chasing a survivor who's not exposed, they like to be greedy and not throw pallets, which is where Blood Favor comes in. You can even monitor Blood Favor with a drone, often with a gen. My slowdown perks are Overcharge and Jolt. I got a win streak of 11 with this build and I do not just hold a 3 gen unless the survivors put me in that situation.

I actually still like eruption even though it got nerfed. Honestly, I kinda consider it a buff with the aura effect to it

She seems like a decent killer at the lower level of dbd. But I don't see her being any good when it comes to the basement gremlins who never stop playing. I'm pretty sure she would be atleast a c tier killer with a good build and decent add ons. I'm gonna try this build when I manage to get the perks for her

For the main room in R.P.D, I place two drones on the second floor near the stairs. For the other drones, I place them at areas of high traffic. The outdoor staircase by the front, the library, near the Unicorn statue, records room, hallways by the office and move them around to confuse Survivors. I admit, I use to place near gens, but I'm now focusing on being more tactical. Any good suggestions?

I don't know if I've ever witnessed a game with more perk/power value than in that red forest game

I've been playing her since release she's amazing especially with nowhere to hide and trail of torment it's a deadly combo but I run pretty much the same add ons except one I use the one that gives you haste by 5%

Skull Merchant undoubtedly has a tom of chase potential but the same things that are making her better are making her better at stalemating games. I know that’s not the topic of this video but I think something needs to be done to fix the stalemate playstyle

since release of her all i find is killers playing as her camping the last 3 gens turning it into a 30-50 min match

I have a skull merchant build for you where u don't rely on 3 gens Add-ons iri unpublished manuscript and shotgun speakers Perks Distressing, overcharge, coultophobia and unnerving presence with Iri um ur drones will have a 15 second terror radius and it works with unnerving and phobia and shotgun speakers givers them no notification of a skill check

Mothers Dwelling and those drones at the end clutch got me two fist pumps in the air for excitement! GG's SL!

spooky you just gave me an idea that I think would be a nice buff to her! I loved the playstyle you did with her! but what if she had a secondary power? that would have to charge up (like dredge's nightfall, when his power is the remnant/teleport) which could be charged up by the amount of time people stay inside her drone's area, and with it completely charged, she can go invisible, (or semi-invisible I dunno) that would be not only just a nice extra thing for her kit, so she's more encouraged to catch people off guard somewhere, and that even indirectly makes the drones useful for when someone is hurt, they will get exposed which doesn't matter, but they would be charging your stealth power if they choose to dance inside the area!

Got a fun build idea for you to try. Game afoot with rancor in an endgame build. If you keep your chase times close, it can lead to a 4 man rancor.

I just want to show you my concept for a dead by daylight killer The wendigo dead by daylight 4.6m/s 32 meter terror radius Ability Ancient fog this skill lasts for 30 seconds the cool down is 40 seconds this effect causes the map to be covered in a thick fog causes the terror radius to increase to a total of 24 meters and causes all locations of the survivors to be exposed for 2 seconds the wendigo has its speed is decreased to 4.4m/s as long as the ability is active On activation of ancient fog all survivors at all times will have the paranoia status affect + has the ability to crouch at 3.6m/s while you're crouched you will have the undetectable status effect +Wow you're crouched. Can you dash forward over any obstacle and if you hit a survivor while in the animation after the animation triggers the stunned animation for 2/3? seconds

My best set for Skull merchant is Addons: Adi Valente 1 / Shotgun speakers Perks: Distressing, unnerving presence, oppression, and overcharge. Expect a huge slow down on people doing gens.

All they need to do is make the drones able to shoot something when survivors are revealed in their radius or travel the map or something along with making the mori actually good and it's a good enough chapter

I just noticed the more you think about it the more and more the skull merchant is just a Predator rip off even from the name she’s a “skull merchant” and The Predator would take the skulls of the things he killed as a trophy and he was always undetectable because of his camo and she’s undetectable through her drones

Very cool alt skin, but so much of this killer reminds me of Bloodharvest, one of BHVR's previous games

After playing against her and as her i feel like her gadget after a survivor hacks her drones should be nerfed it takes far to long for the dots to clear before taking it off, by the time it goes down to the second dot shes already made it across the map twice over and has put me in the dying state.

Despite of those complains about the new killer, i thought this is an awesome killer and hard to beat if its really buffed

I know Skull Merchant was kinda meta for a while (tho I wasn't into DBD at the time so idk how bad it got), but she seems fine to me. I know most ppl hate her, but I acc think she's an alright killer tbh.

Those add ons should be base kit, that aura reading one really makes her feel like s predator style killer.

It's a drone, right? What if they buffed it so the drone slowly follows the first survivor it detects? Say, survivor default walking speed. Also, the 6 second aura reading should be base kit.

Hell no, i need a way to counter the way some killers are starting to use her They literally zone and camp one corner of the map w the three more closest gens, yet they don't even mind on start a chase or move away from the zone, yesterday these type of matches were a complete hell, even playing with one friend we couldn't progress more Drones take time to be hacked, yet she can follow you with her claws
