What a great build, it looks very well-engineered. I believe this would be well suited for pulling behind a small car or full-sized motorcycle but it seems like it is oversized and overweight to allow much range with e-Bike travel. I've seen much lighter and less robust bicycle/e-bike campers made with bike tires and foam composite walls - but they are not nearly as well appointed as this design.
a 2kw DD drive on front wheel perhaps with more battery would give braking (regen) and enough power for hills. What is tough for an ebike with trailer is that it is tough to ride on fast high traffic roads, and tough for any narrow trail, or one with a fallen tree blocking it. But the extra motor would help for roads.
Great build! My only criticism though, I would have put the exterior handles that are on the door and draw horizontal rather than vertical to avoid snagging on anything down tight lanes or paths
Well this has done it for me. I have had an ebike for about 10 years and I have always just thought about carrying a tent but I love this idea way more. This is going to be how I retire. Now I just need my own fabrication shop and the genius building skills of this gentleman. I have thought about just getting a baby carrier and hanging my feet out when it came time to rest but an airbed in a tent with a USB inflator is probably better. On to bigger and better...Thanks for the video, I couldn't take my eyes away until you finished.

This is very impressive. I upgraded a travel trailer when I had one and I doubt the new owners cared much about the things I added. For example under the awning I added custom aluimuin tables that hung off the travel trailer along with extra lights. This way you could still cook if it rained. There was a 3 burner gas stove that could move from inside to the outside. I had a small flat top grill that you could hook up to the main lines. I had solar on the roof and usb plugs to charge anything you wanted including a custom shelf outside under the awing in which you can place you phones on and charge with the outside usb. You could also add a tv outside on a wall mount hanger and plug it in and then using that same table set up a laptop to play movies on the bigger screen. Inside I upgraded all the lightbulbs to led which made it brighter. I installed an air maxx fan with remote. I was also going to install on in the bathroom and had not gotten to it. I added a drop down tv screen which you could hook hdmi up to it and watch from the laptop. You could also add usb sticks to it and watch movies that way or dvds. I did a lot more stuff as well as upgrading the leveling jacks to something much better than what was on them. I put a lot in to it and did not really make any money in doing it. If I was ever to do it again I would custom build a trailer instead. Most campers suck and people hate their layouts and crap they have in them.
@@debb4099 It was nice and I do not think we will ever get a camper again as we only used it half a dozen times in several years. My neighbor has one sitting in his barn that is 10 years old and he used it once. Its been sitting in there for the whole time. Just one time and this thing is like 50k or more. Just once. I watched another person make a really nice light weight one and if someone wanted to put some money in to building a small shop. I think I have a process that would make some super light weight units and they could be boxed shipped a size no bigger than say a shower box. In 4 segments that can be stacked in one another and be quite fancy and light weight. The price would be about 2500 to 3000 bucks with a solar panel and a battery. A bit more and you could design a bike around it that could use the wheel hubs on the trailer as Regen braking as well.
just watched an eBike camper video from a popular Canadian RU-vidr, and right after, I finished watching this. Wow, his camper pales in comparison to this one. This camper is much larger, more spacious, and looks comfortable, I mean he even has AC! China is just built different 😂
I love the towing setup. It means the camper could be towed by a small car. I gather the rear lights are blue-tooth (so people behind you know when you are turning or stopping. I would be installing adjustable levelling jacks in each corner. The only thing worse than sleeping up or down hill is rolling side ways because the sleeping surface isn't level.
Amazing build, very inspiring, thank you for sharing it ! I always wondered how the Vietnamese are able to sleep on hard surfaces like this ! Most culture in the world will sleep on a softer surface.
I enjoy watching your vlogs on diy projects. Since you have the resources, why not build a shop with workbenches, tables and cabinets where you can place and store your tools and materials and work comfortably.
Hi, I have seen a lot of trailers for ebikes and this was way cool. Your design for everything set up for good use. Your power is a good one. I been thinking of a trailer myself, but to many hills for me. I have one started but not sure I will use it on my ebike, but actual motorcycle, lol. I do like what you have done is nice! Thanks!
If you built it like this fellow did, I'd say a motorbike would be the way to go. I'm sure this trailer is near unbreakable, but it must weigh near as much as a car trailer. Something out of wood and bicycle parts may be a better option for pulling with an e-bike.
A beautiful bicycle caravan in a friendly green colour. He pleases with something of fantastic. Just to fall in love with. Thanks for the video. It's really nice to see what's possible.
This looks like a very nice build. This DIY E-Bike Trailer looks very professionally built. It would be cool if people who build these could be challenged to see how long they could live in one of these while traveling across the country? If someone could live full-time in one of these for at least a year or more while traveling across the country that would be cool because if someone could solely be living in one of those it could prove that you could live green but could show these would really help others. Again nice video.
Awesome skill. I call you master of craftmenship. I like it a lot when you build these with so professional skill. If you tell people you build it on your own they wouldn't believe your for sure. Thanks for the video. I like it a lot.
Next, make a mold, the make many copies of a ultralightweight version as if like a giant tupperware container that is a camper even a child can easily lift up. Carbon fibre as much as possible, vacuum bagging. The goal, is a camper under 50 pounds that even has a built in plumbing system and outdoor shower, awning and velcro/zippered or magnetic sealed screenroom. Also, install a LoRa radio system for full free email and wikipedia access, only 25 bux for that, could also be safety radio emergency transponder/off site security backup system. Cheers dude, completely dig your channel, inspiring.
Hi from Montréal Québec Canada, what a beautiful project, so clean, so relaxing, so fun to watch. Good to have the tools and material to do such a job.Your work is A1. it also helps me cope with the passing of my wife Louise. Thanks .Take care signed Jim
Green is a beautiful color) Maybe I'm not really attentive, but for the first time I see how two people help you at once) and that turns out to be three in the frame)
Maravilloso trabajo.
I can only imagine what it would be like to have all of those tools and supplies at your immediate disposal allowing you to do whatever the hell you wanted! Quite envious I am.
Amazing design. Professional work and is the only bike van with such details of electrical staff. A real professional. Hat's off my friend. You are so lucky having this bike van. Thanks gor this video. You gave me a kot ideas about mine. Be cool.
