I appreciate that this is *real*. Every business re-brands...often it's just an exercise. But you aren't describing an exercise, you are describing a realignment. Thank you for showing us its mess AND its beauty. It may take some time, but as you move through it, your business will serve the world SO much better. Keep going.

Holy moly Ashlyn! Looking at your list of revenue streams had my head spinning. That streamlined simple version still looks like a LOT! I'm over her with like 2 courses and I'm always debating "do I add another offer, or will that add too much complication to my life?" 😂Deep respect for the BTS video, it makes for fabulously interesting content! I was also getting bored of my typical "tips" videos and a few months back started doing more BTS stuff and it's such a joy to create! Sending love from Switzerland! 😊❤

The biggest takeaway for me was the Brain-Dump style Google Doc!! I have to write things down to get the anxiety out of my head and I have been struggling just figuring out which way I want my business to go. This has given me such a great way to organize it and have all the important parts, but organized into a Google Doc with clickable outlines (instead of a massive block paragraph brain dump)!! Thank you for this unfiltered honesty!!

👏HERE FOR THE BTS! 👏I'm so excited for you and this new phrase for you - heck yes to setting your own rules. I LOVED seeing you unapologetically layout your hours and putting your foot down on traditional meetings. Also, almost spit out my coffee when you talked about making it 3-normal days without some kid thing happening. SO TRUE!

Dude!! Hot take but this is your best video yet. Your transparency and willingness to be vulnerable, share, and lift others up while doing so, is the core of what I love about you! The business pivot is real when you become a mom. It’s a new era of life and should be treated as such. I’m still trying to find my way back because BOOM-the pandemic happened. With that, the last few years have been unbelievably difficult. Cheers to pivots, breathing fresh life into our businesses, and HAVING FUN AGAIN! 🥂

Recognizing that it's time to let go & declare things complete. It can feel nostalgic,and ohhh I admire your clarity you want to have fun again! YES! It's time to let go of technology that's outdated (even though learning curves make me want to eat a pint of Ben & Jerry's Tiramisu) and re-imagine your life - and 3 kids, a new home - your mom's recovery. I'm only a mama to the 4-footed variety, so that's not the energy suck for me personally, but lemme tell ya, facing a serious health scare all last year did a number on me in too many ways. Yup. My business evolves (heck, expands!) as I do as a mother - my contracts have changed to make way more space for the unpredictability of parenting and my health overall. I'm a spurts and stops person already and I love that my business reflects that - no guild, no need to make it different as it is exactly what works right now. Pre-kids entrepreneurship was a whole other ball game. (and I'll add - copywriting for creatives is still a huge part of my work / copywriting etc - your work has been rippling out this whole time while you are in the season of early kids :) )

Love that you shared this! I’ve changed a lot about my work since the new year because I haven’t had a choice. Life has forced my hand and showed me what’s necessary and what isn’t for this season of life. One day I may get back to a work schedule previous to these changes, but maybe not. Regardless, it’s going to be okay. The entrepreneur journey is thankfully one we get to make up along the way to fit our current season, and that’s a beautiful thing.
