Whenever i played i was happy enoigh to not get oblitersted so i just went as a slave just collecting supplies in exchange dor a gun and some armor. And the people who hae more skills and understanding of the game likes it too i guess^^ That was like 106/2017
I'm literally exactly like "UNCLE!" I'm a 40 year old gamer that found out about Rust in 2013 right after it came out! Within two years of it's release I had already dumped thousands of hours into the game. I reached 10k hours played faster than anyone I played with in the game. With that said, farming was my specialty! I love doing solo raids and playing as a solo player, but often times look for groups or clans that need a Master Farmer because just like Uncle.. I AM HIM!
My biggest tip is to not be afraid of dying in Rust! What I mean by that is.. for the first year or two of playing the game I was so paranoid to get raided, so paranoid to lose a gun, my gear etc. That rather than fight, I would run to my house and be as sneaky as possible. If I saw a potential enemy, rather than attack, I'd run away EVERY SINGLE TIME. Because of this, it allowed everyone else in the game to get better with guns, and I would be hiding in my base. Yes I was safe, but it wasn't helping me get better at the game. I used to think my son was crazy because if we heard gunfire outside our base, he would run outside like Chuck Norris guns blazing! Sometimes he'd die and lose a kit and I would be a bit upset.. but other times he would come back LOADED after killing a few people! I started to realize that I was playing like a WEENIE and I finally said fuck it.. no more hiding, no more running away, no more being afraid to fight people. Of course for awhile, I died in 80% or more of the fights that I engaged in. But after awhile, I started finally coming out on top. Rather than coming home butthurt naked with no loot, I'd come back with a couple AK's, armor sets, farm materials etc. Sorry for the super long comment. Basically what I'm saying is.. if you're new.. don't be like me and be afraid to get your ass kicked. Because eventually it'll lead to you being the one kicking some ass!@@FXCartel
I suppose one advantage of this type of "fortress" construction is you bring your front door to the action and loot rather than the predictable "bring the loot across the map to the base [front door]" This is phenomenal- I have a feeling this is only the beginning of where this idea will go
If I came across this I would just be interested. It's obviously not worth attacking and I'm not a griefer. I'd be more likely to deliver you more resources to help you build
I was having a really good wipe as a solo one time and then my neighbors a 4 man team logged on and it was 2 straight days of door and roof camping. Can’t believe u were able to accomplish this
Other rust youtubers make insane bases like this every once and a while but most of the time it's just some 'unaidable bunker base'. This dude actually makes unaidable bases in the most inconvenient way possible, and it's awesome.
I started a project like this once but it was.. Admittedly cheated.. On my own server that was public.. But I did it as part of a big event I was wanting to run for a a wipe cycle where people would be forced to be part of one of four teams. There was basically two lines of walls that separated the teams.. Keep in-mind these walls stretched into the top of the sky. The walls could not be damaged till the first real life week was over then the walls where removed in order to make sure everyone was kept into their zones. Each zones had all the resources to build anything but you had to farm to get it.. But after that time was up no new resource could be harvested and you could only get resources from raids or resource catches that would spawn around the map. ( Keep in mind this was a few years ago too.. I had shut down this server about a year ago and this event was done 3 years ago lol. ) Its funny that I almost completely forgot about that event till I seen this video. I kinda miss running a server.. But I do not think I really have the time to do that stuff anymore.

Hey at 6:00 the repeating sounds... I had that and stopped playing the game because of it, but it was like all the time and even my moves were freezing, i thought it was my pc, I have not played the game for like a year now thinking it was just me and my sucking computer, tell me more plz about it and what I could maybe do to help me have less of it... Also the wall is a pretty nice idea i also had but never tried, nice to see one.

Despite watching some videos on it. Never played rust :p. How does the decay work exactly? Like I managed to find how it’s calculated and that makes sense. But 200.000? Is that per day? Or per what amount of time is that?
Every base is raidable. Thats why i just build several small basses. My main out of metal and the others of stone. Nobody hits them cuz they assume they arent worth it.

New to you, VERY glad you don’t add alllll the bullshit before the main part of the video, lots of RU-vidrs have so much boring shit in the beginning and then the last 10 minutes of a 50 minute video is the main subject.
Ive had a theory for a while that a super long base thats all only 1 foundation wide, single storey, separate compartments, might be the best option, all bases are raidable, so making raiders have to break 56 separate walls, or doors, with no guarantee they find anything behind each wall, this makes it highly annoying, low reward. Possibly a viable option if you want something other than a giant compound...
I make boat bases that literally almost NEVER get raided! The main issue is with bases being raided is often times the fact that players will COPY other players designs from RU-vid etc. and because of that, you see the same base designs over and over and over again! Because of this, experienced raiders know how to quickly get to your loot room without much effort! So rather than copy all the "INSANE BASE BUILD" tutorials on RU-vid, I just make a HUGE massive ugly ass base where it's impossible to guess where my loot rooms are and because of it, raiders typically leave me alone! I've even pissed off some raiders and clans in the past who have said to me "Fuck no.. we'd never try raiding that huge piece of shit" because they literally would waste so much time and resources and wouldn't even be guaranteed to find my loot rooms! I wish I had a few screenshots to show you one of my last boat base designs. It was fully equipped with 4 smaller boats, two of the rafts, and even housed a submarine that was completely locked inside the base!
I may consider. Mostly because these days I don't Rust the way I used to. In the last 2 years I've actually barely touched the game. It's too addicting for me. I'm the type that'll watch it ruin in my life and act like nothing is wrong. I'll lose my job, my woman, etc hahaha.. best game ever! Also.. the couple times this design has been raided I'm about 99% sure they were using ESP because it made absolutely no sense how they took the absolute shortest route to TC. And as we know.. there are tons of fucks using ESP on Rust and getting away with it@@douglasefeliz
This is actually raidable in under about 40 c4. Just keep raiding in half, see which side had TC, and raid the middle again. Statistically, takes about 8 tries to get it narrowed in
I build bases similar to this but generally encompass an island. Then put turrets and sams all over the island. Needless to say, I have never been successfully raided. Most times, I never do.
