I built the smallest cabin yet! It's called the BIKE CABIN - a bicycle camper that allows us to go deeper into the woods than we would be able to go with our "larger" tiny cabin. Watch as I test it out for the very first time with my dog in a beautiful pine forest.

@@TinyCabinLifeMy housemate used to be a patent examiner, he retired several years ago. If you are interested in a patent on your cabin, please read on. When I read the comment suggesting that you patent your design, he had this to say: “It’s not a simple or inexpensive process. First, if you sell one of these cabins, you won’t be able to patent it unless it’s been less than a year since you sold it or advertised it for sale. You would have to hire a patent attorney or a company specializing in helping people patent their inventions, because they would need to help write and file the application and assess the possibility of it being patentable. Once you get the patent, you will have to pay yearly fees to maintain the patent. And it would take a substantial amount of time to work its way through the process.” Jack, my Father was a patent attorney for 20 years, my Mother was his secretary. If he were alive today, (wishful hoping), he would be 103 years old. Cool cabin, Happy Birthday, beautiful Ellie!

Being outdoors is just so good for the body and soul. I spent Sunday with my family on Ballinesker Beach in County Wexford and it was so nice. It’s the beach where the beach landing’s in Saving Private Ryan were shot.

Oh my goodness the Bike Cabin is genius! I love how it allows you to have those little comforts like your coffee and cooking, whilst getting you deeper into nature. It looks so cozy and comfortable! Sweet Ellie clearly loved her birthday trip, she is such a dear doggo. It looks to have great ventilation to keep things nice in the warm weather; you've out done yourself Jack! Thank you so much! That really means a lot. So I just use a little usb power station for the lights and fan. It works really well. I used to use it to power the lights in the A frame before I got the Jackery 👍🏽

Looking good! I have designed several of these bike or push cart campers for people to build over the years. The simplest is to get a large dog trailer for your bike and you can put a tent, sleeping bags and a power station in that. It is lighter and designed for bikes or ebikes and with a front wheel you can also use it as a push cart to gather supplies. Ebikes are great and I ride an Ariel X 52 and can tow two large dogs and all my camping supplies anywhere. Take a long a 100 watt flexible solar panel and keep it all charged up. Keep up the good work!

Suggestions Spare tires… one or maybe two completely inflated wheels that can be popped on in case of a blowout 2 the gear to put a weather /Bug tarp or mesh shelter around your bike and trailer to give your self a little extra protection instead having to retreat to the cabin

Your mini-cabin looks larger inside than I imagined, it looks very cozy. So many nice features. What a great combination pairing it with the e-bike, makes for a nice silent ride into the forest.
