Bolts and rivets where holding things together just fine way before welding became a viable alternative. As an Engineer* and a Cyclist I approve. * Not really that kind of Engineer to be fair, but to be fair a big chunk of those people on Reddit I suspect aren't any kind.
I love your channel!! Been binge watching your videos and even got inspired to make myself some custom shelves from cardboard I had lying around : ) I don't know if you take video requests, but I'd love to hear your opinions about sustainability in the rapair space itself. What can you do if you need a very specific tool or material, without necessarily buying new ones especially in bulk?
Shelves from cardboard? What if you spill tee on them hmmm? I actually have bigass idea that would answer that - basically building a house out of facebook marketplace free section, what do you reckon?
@Paranda well, trying to avoid drinking tea near the cardboard as much as I can... Not the easiest task, though! And your idea sounds great, I'll definitely watch it! Will the house be for sale later? I could use a place to live that doesn't have a sky-high rent ;)
Since I saw Collin Furze teach us how to build a gokart without welding (just bolts and nunts), I was thinking, is anyone tried to build a bike with just bolts and nuts ? Now I have the answer.
