My first time to build a MENG KIT and boy it was fantastic. I am a new fan of this wonderfully crafted engineered model kit. From Fit to Instructions to the overall quality. Thumbs up. Completely inspired by this, i decided to build a DISPLAY BASE for this kit with a CARRIER ELEVATOR DECK using Siintra Boards and a hard to find 1/48 accessories kits like a tractor.
I veered away from the typical landing decks and wanted to depict a visually entertaining Elevator Bay/Deck.

You could add led lights and turn your display into a lamb for evening display.

Hello, thank you for sharing this fantastic build! And I appreciate the quiet, peaceful music you have chosen. Please share what you used for the gear bay wash? The applicator looks like it’s from a Tamiya panel line wash, but the wash itself was much thinner than Tamiya and went on beautifully.

Hello Mate. I am amazed that you noticed the difference from a Tamiya Panel Line Wash. I just used a small amount of oil and large amount of thinner. Thank you for dropping by. Very much appreciated.

Hello mate. Just traced the F-18 kit. It was just used for scale and measurements over the sintra. Didn't want to damage the model kit. Merry Christmas my friend.
