Just a little mistake at the start of the video! Mid Century architecture is widely known to have begun in roughly 1945 (end of WWII) however, some sources say it began in the 1930s. I think “roughly 1945” is more widely known, so me stating the 1930s is misleading. Sorry for the confusion!

I love that Deli clearly has educated herself on mid-century design. She's so knowledgeable about all the conventions of mid-century houses and it's just so fun to learn about them from her. Love you Deli and love the house!

The first time I heard him snoring, I thought something was wrong with me, quickly realized it wasn't my breathing, but then thought something was wrong with my pc, and then (and only then!) did I remember she mentioned Bowser's snoring would probably pick up on the mic, and I was so relieved 😅 So while apologies are not strictly necessary, I definitely appreciate that she mentions it whenever he joins her! Once I knew their source, his snoring definitely grew on me, hahaha, Bowser is such a good boy!

My mom and I lived in a house that had a sunken living room with high ceilings and even an atrium in the middle of the house. It was a very beautiful house.

A family relative of mine had a house with a conversation pit, looking up to a giant (albeit outdated) TV. And even as a child, not knowing that conversation pits were a mid century and 70s thing, I already thought that it was the coolest thing ever. It was etched in my mind that I had to have it when I grow up. It felt so convivial and personal, especially when having all other family relatives over.

I absolutely love this house! In real life it would make sense to have all these bedrooms in a mansion but for the sims I would've put more gameplay items in, skill building room, office, laundry, etc. :)

I LOVE this build. All of it! My favorite rooms were the grand living room and the hallways. Really liked what you did with the courtyard as well. The house is private but with a lot of light.

World War II was between 1939-1945 so mid century design became popular in the late 1940’s. Sorry for being annoying (love your videos) just felt like the historical context was needed since the 30’s were characterised by economic depression

Deli you've been looking look so sunny and vibrant recently! Also love how your tee matches your bedcover, looks so satisfying lol. House is amazinggg! I can say I'ts my personal favorite of yours. I did a similar one for my dream home project, mine came out more toned down but still colorful, kinda more sims 3 looking, but this one gives me the same vibes. I did the same kind of decking upstairs surrounding the second floor, with similar panels that you can open and close freely for privacy. The courtyard omgg mine was more plain cuz the lot is I think 40x30 so more elongated

a cute gameplay idea for this house could be a bunch of sims (family perhaps) that all like to cook together. or it could be sims in university studying culinary arts. good way to use up all that counter space. i like when my sims cook together, especially with a large household. its cute and gives extra servings of food

Great build! I am a content creator and Interior designer who used to deal in Mid-Century furnishings. I like how you claimed that it is not meant to be a time capsule, but a mid-century inspired new build. This opens it up a little bit and you can add some modern things like the LED chandeliers in the living room. We do lack great chandeliers in the non CC. I would love just a lighting pack. You are also very engaging and knowledgeable. I enjoy your content a lot.

This is absolutely stunning (and big...! kudos for all your work!!). 💕 I'm especially in love with the whole kitchen dining living area. The dark woods with all the color and furniture choices you made just ooze warmth, this place looks super cosy and comfy even though it's an expensive place and I love that lol. 😍 The vibes of the entire place, just exquisite. 👌 I would be so stoked for you to have an LP here! ❤ I know you haven't done those "casual", cosy, short ones lately but this place is so beautiful it would so awesome to have some kind of LP (if Not cosy then drama.. always good 😂), maybe a scenario or challenge one... This house is amazing!! I love the sunken living room/conversation pit, and the outside courtyard is actually one of my favourite places 🥰 I think I'm going to download this, but maybe change the outside gym area into a little gardening area with vertical planters and things, because I love gardening in the sims and in real life. Brilliant video Deli ❤ (Also, it was so interesting watching you map out the general design of the house with floor tiles, and using blocks of colour to plan where the actual wallpaper/building materials would go. Really clever!)

Deli! I LOVE this house! I love what you did in the tv room, and the kitchen. It all just looks so good! And the majority of the cc you used is cc I have! I love it! Also, there is nothing better than having your sweet, fury friend snoring next to you. Don’t apologize. At one point I heard him and it made me chuckle. My snoring dog Bruce Wayne says “Hi Bowser!” Side note: Can you share the recipe you use for the apricot chicken? As a busy mom of two kids, I need more recipes to try.
