love these kind of big build’s but just a tip: the sky doesn’t look like the nether so much because the sky is still blue so u can add more red layers mixing with like orange to make a foggy effect or just build it all out of netherack

I think the best way to execute this type of build is to do it with the portal on the side of the mountain. The problem with this style is it's only really useful for a screenshot in one position, the illusion breaks when you move away. In the side of a mountain, you can build a nether inside and it's not visible from anywhere until you look at the portal, and this is the same with the overworld inside of the nether.

The sky doesn't look like nether because nether is not bright blue sky with red filter. He could've just put netherrack instead of glass and turn chunk render distance down, and it would've work a lot better. NETHER IS DARK AND FOGGY, as simple as that

Tip: when your rading a ocean monument bring some milk buckets so when you get effected by the elder guardian you can mine your way out easily

First of all, you need a water bucket, an empty bucket (optional), flint and steel (optional) and a lava lake nearby. Then build upside down L shape on right or left side of your upcoming portal. You should make a giant mountain that covers the illusion and make it hollow. Then you could put nether rack on the underside of the mountain. That way on the outside it looks normal but when you look through the portal it’s the nether.

Heres a tip, to raid ocean monuments when you have mining fatigue use tnt surrounded by normal blocks and one redstone block to easily make your way out

But there is no sky in the nether. Also you need more B-roll of your completed builds. It really helps show off all the work you put into them and the video if you just take 10 - 15 seconds to show it off.
