Thank you, sure, the points are Peco and the flexi track is mostly Cliff Barker track. There are some Peco lengths in there too.

Hi there, the track gauge is SM32, essentially O gauge. The track is a mix of Peco SM32 and Cliff Barker track all available online

I find it more interesting and much more of a margin for trial and error. I like the fact that every vehicle in a train could be completely different and it still looks authentic. My first steamer was a beat up second hand accucraft. I bought it cheap and have learned a lot from fixing it and asking people lots of questions on the Facebook forum! Currently I'm building a couple of coaches and the kit maker is walking me through it over Facebook! :)

Ive got my eyes on a Millie, although I’ve been hesitant to press the order button. I’ve got a baby on the way in a couple of weeks so I’ve decided not to make any big spends just yet. Would be nice for the summer though.

@@joshw6226 yea very true I hear you on that one has to prioritise for sure, beleive me Millie is a great little loco and if you get it with the full cab it really looks great that is an add on the full full cab. When ever you get it in the future if you have any questions just ask me. It's important to run it in first that's buy letting it run for roughly 10hrs plus with the loco off the bench this will help break in the cylinders and seals before you actually run it on the rails.

Cheers for the advice. It’ll either be a Millie or a Bertie but I like the idea of a Jennie too. I expect I would have to stick with an 0-4-0 on the curves that I have though.

Do it, do it, do it! I’m sure you know how rewarding it can be at times. I often lose the spark, but a nice bit of weather and a new set of batteries works wonders for the enthusiasm levels. Best wishes J
