Hey everybody and welcome to this build video where we build a hanging base on the edge of the swamps
In this series I'll be coming up with builds to show off to you all and coming up with tips and tricks to help you all improve your own builds. Feel free to let me know down in the comments what builds I should do next or just how to do something in Valheim.

*Unpopular Opinion:* I think mods or anything similar or relating to free-mode kills the vibe for many who only have access to vanilla. I think if more streamers made builds on their personal worlds that they use for their own progress would in turn encourage more people to play. I’d also like to add that there’s this idea that players enjoy (only) mega structure builds. But I wouldn’t say that all players are reached. There are many different ways to build homes for many who still play without mods yet only with the boosted world modifier do players get that minor advantage. Theoretically if more videos about town builds and roads that cut through biomes that were made on personal worlds without real mods nor fly mode we’re posted, the game would gain traction. The point I’m trying to make is all about perception. “Monkey see, Monkey do” in the simplest fashion. (Amazing build by the way, I love how detailed it is)

A lot of people also don’t like to play the survival aspect and love to build. I love playing survival but I also love just getting on and building something cool. I’m not trying be better then anyone and everyone can play the game how they want, it’s not a big competition. I understand that yes it’s more challenging and yes it’s cool to say I built something in survival but sometimes it’s nice to just chill and build something cool for other people to see and enjoy. Also! I did not use any mods for this, I only used devcommands and even then, I did not change anything except to fly, no cost (building doesn’t cost resources), god (I don’t take damage), and ghost (I don’t get attacked). I did not use any commands to change the structural integrity or to keep the build from breaking.

Here. I used hammer mode, but no devcommands. And I did my best to use as few iron beams as possible. It's not the exact same build, but that's still the idea.
