Potential Interior ideas: 1. Coffee Shop/ someplace you can call to relax your mind 2. Enchantment area - The place dedicated to all your enchanting witch stuff (You might need to relocate some of the core of your other builds) 3. A makeshift gym room 4. Bedroom - for obviously reason 5. Map room - if you keen to map out all the structures you had built 6. Automated farmland - you could use it when you are doing work underground and save some time on flying back to the surface and gather food 7. Weapons trading hall 8. Kitchen - to cook food (tho most food in minecraft can be eaten raw, can just treated as aesthetic purpose) 9. Swimming pool 10. DJ room 11. Target Practice room 12. Zombie farm 13. Library 14. An attic 15. Bathroom 16. Pantry 17. Garden 18. A lookout 19. Brewing station
ooooh it'd be cool if it was a coffee shop / brewing area on the bottom, but then you can continue upwards to the enchanting areas. can store the different books / types of enchantments in different rooms, with tons of bookshelves and greenery and stuff :))). like a huge overgrown library of rooms , all melded together to hold different enchantments and potions and stuff.
I always love the texture in your builds! I’d love to see you expand so that your world really feels alive :) whether small or large builds I think that it would be cool to see what you come up with !
This is actually so very cool! Your gf was right, the dark green of the spruce does make a very nice contrast with the cherry trees, and the base itself was astounding. This video here feels like a turning point, a testament to how far you've come since the start. Specially with how your building has changed (at least as far as you've shown it) I'm so proud of you!
The diversity of blocks chosen for this build is really impressive. I think the use of Nether wart blocks is really clever, and adds a really nice pop of vibrant color to the otherwise light or neutral theme of the build. And the fact that it looks like a bunch of different houses jumbled together is so a really neat idea. The roof gives me fantasy village vibes too! Sorry if I'm going too deep into it, my nerd brain just really likes these kinds of builds. And the artist part of my brain(all of it lol) really likes color contrasts like this. In short, it's a 10/10; very inspiring for unique builds.
I usually find myself getting bored while watching these base build videos, but the periodic tangents, conflicts, and sidequests keep it entertaining. The editing is superb, the commentary is engaging, and I just love how much I relate to your "I just kinda have to start doing something and wing it until it's halfway decent" energy.
The base is fun!!! I have an idea for the interiors. More like a rule. No farms. Just storage and decorations. 😁 like a big hotel with villagers in it!!
I love the texture details, your builds are always amazing!!! Always have my mind blown in seeing your creativity! Room suggestion: Do a grand bedroom and maybe even a room for your girlfriend she can help with that holds her own little workshop or hobby area. Or even a throne room for you both.
Duuude, the Taylor Swift reference was awesome 😂💜 I love watching your videos. They are so dynamic and fun! The montage is a great part of it. And the little things like flying through a hole in the floor or going overboard with decorations - it all shows how much you enjoy this and it makes watching this so much more enjoyable for me too 😄💜
I love your side missions dude!!! And the building style is so fun to watch! As for suggestions, you could try adding a medieval style master bedroom, maybe even a throne room??? Use iron golems as like knights/body guards perhaps?
a handful of good ideas that I use in some of my builds are a lounge (jukebox space and stuff), a kind of blacksmithing room with a nether portal a anvil and armor stands, a storage room (duh), and a map room. these are all just suggestions, you can use them however you want.
1) love the timelapses and sidequests! 2) I haven't even met your girlfriend but she is so based for the tree comment 3) the bottom layers of the house could be a typical house with grandiose kitchens, dining rooms, libraries, living rooms and bedrooms; the further up you go it could have either farms or deep dark secrets including altars and sacrifices to the dark lord
Realistically this base could actually exist if everything above the foundation level was made of wood. Wood has the cool ability to be able to support a larger surface above itself, with the surfaces above the next being able to be made increasingly wider. This can be seen in medieval/enlightenment period buildings. Before the Great fire of London in 1666, people from across the street could shake hands at the top level of their houses because they were that close at the top, whilst being so far away on the bottom. This is also resultantly how the fire was able to spread so far and fast…
Btw why don't you make netherite and all other beacons Plus build a emerald castle with fire and water dragon above it make the beacon from all at bottom not filled inside but till hight limit and make a spaceship in end transform end into a very nice biome and make insane stuff like this and it will be from right now just like you used to do😊😅
Giant clock on outside with redstone on inside. I know how much you like redstone! Vines are always fun. Maybe a beauty and the beast style library? Some kind of Melon cult room. lol Timelapses are awesome!
i love it. the palette is awesome, it's giving me a lot of inspiration! i can't wait to see how you'll do the interior as i struggle with it especially on a big scale
You could make the build all sorts of things on the interior but have a massive theme running through the whole thing to use up space and link it together, so maybe like a giant garden? Or steampunk decorations with pipes and stuff? I'm sure your final decision will look awesome! And I love all your story telling techniques, the side quests are so fun :)
Another amazing video, Brock (as always) Maybe for the interior make it something magical, like harry potter kinda vibes. You can make a lot of stair cases and librarys also some secret rooms useing chiseled bookshelfs with redstone
Since its a base, not a house I recommend these ( i am incoorperating them in my own 300 day hardcore world too) -bakery, supplies you with all you need and you can have 1 or 2 farmer villigears stuck there to sell you golden carrots Farming room, farmer villigears harvesting carrots, wheat, or other stuff for you. A nether portal room with necessities for the nether (i.e. fire res potion/ obsidion+flint and steel) Loot room to show off your wealth And my favorite, a room for stacking up, what I mean is that you can have a hole in your base you fly through with an elytra and extra armour along with armour stands or an elytra launcher
I really like that you go off about yourself getting sidetracked, its pretty entertaining and feels more real than a lot of these hardcore videos that are just "I did x" and the whole video is them only going over that
For the interior, you could do something like the moving stairs of hogwarts, just a lot of stairways starting or leading nowhere except some that link up to the functional rooms of the base
I love that you showed everything that revolves around the building process, specially in big projects like this, it's not only useful but it also makes me feel better about taking forever to finish builds lol
I am so happy you are getting back into the fun of Minecraft and building again. The fact that you did it without an plan is excellent. That's how I play. And I think most people just do that. And believe me I was not bored by your montages or the dirt outline. It's nice to see your process and how you are figuring out what you want. I love how the base turned out and I love the colors you used. It was a great idea to add spruce trees with cherry trees. Also the side missions are fun. This video, the whole of it, was great. Keep doing it if you really like it because I had a lot of fun with it.
Maybe look add a big dining table room into the building, and also a awesome kitchen as well. Could be a mix of medieval and nature-ie. And when in doubt, INDOOR GARDEN!
Thank you, this came across my field and you've reminded me that I'm not an idiot, I'm just not a builder and not using planning mods. You're right, it's hard mode.
17:55 HHAHAHAHHA it make laugh so hard, loved it Loved everything to be honest, how you put this videos together and your sense of humor, aaaaaand the building, it was so refreshing
Ok ok i have an idea for the base interior: make a huge library with bookshelves going all the way up top , and a chandelier going down Edit: Thats a very unique and kind of unusual building style which i love and i would like to see more in the future, you never disappoint ❤
We love the montages! At least I do, but I think we all do! Especially when the music matches up with the block placing/breaking/movement, just *chef's kiss*
Here I’m going to give you an idea that I try to do on my world, try to make something like a country and have multiple villagers with thriving villagers and make a custom flag out of a banner, and also you can create a giant map to cover not only your country but neighboring ones or just unclaimed land.
should scatter some bamboo through the forest, it will contrast well with the pinks and dark colors already present. a giant centerbase always screams "All the farms" could shove a few basic ones in there (Bamboo, Kelp could be interesting to force yourself to build into it, moss, prettier iron farm, automatic pumpkin and melon, using villagers to auto harvest crops, that sort of thing)
Literally everything about your videos is perfect. Your so enjoyable to watch and all the side missions keeps me entertained and stuff. Your doing great!!
i really appreciate your videos, in that you use your own humor and story telling, narrate your thought process. and the best is that you dont rely on stupid meme and reaction gifs like everyone else. thank you. you keep it fun and real. :)
For some reason I'm laying in bed watching this video on tv and I'm laughing. I don't normally find MC lets plays particularly funny but for some reason my brain at 1:15 AM is finding this humorous to the point that I had to comment. The whole 'this is an archway' bit made me cackle.
interior Idea 1; leave it empty interior Idea 2; farms on each floor interior Idea 3; a museum of all that you accomplished in the hardcore Minecraft world also love ur vids
I really like all the side bits in the video, if I wanted to watch a build only I'd watch a tutorial, I love your content for how natural but also kinda sporadic it can be.
I've gotta say I have been loving The new season in your content. It's a perfect mix of ridiculousness, hard work and as you said it "realness". I am a big fun.
Make some floors 1.bedroom and storage room 2.farms 3.villager trading hall and villager breeder 4.smelting 5.wood farm 6.netherportal 7.enchanting 8i ran out of ideas 9.maybe a garden? I dont know 10.give me some ideas
For the interior you could have a massive library, a vault to store all of those diamonds a hardcore player must always have, and if you are crazy, dedicate a whole room to one random mob. Hope you like the suggestions!
As an easy passiv Bone Meal source I use an cactus farm. just put some composter at the end and boom you got an easy production for bone meal and if you need cactus just use a lever to block the hopper into the composter.
Hey Brock Cool House ! I was wondering if you could do on your first floor a kitchen and a living room and a sniffer as your pet in the house . Thats all from me , Appreciate you content
Massive library and maybe mix that in with a hotel and while your at it put an auto tree/sugarcane/bamboo farm high up with a storage room for everything
