I Built a Paludarium for My DREAM SNAKE, Here’s How! 

So happy to see that our boy Reaper, is now your boy! We would have only let him go to the best home possible!

This was honestly INSANELY well done. 10/10 production, design, and an incredible home for a beautiful snake!

The paludarium turned out awesome! From the set up I even guessed the snake must be a mangrove snake! I’m sure he’ll be very happy in there! (Also reaper is just such a cool name, it really suits his eyes)

I don't have terrariums but this type of video relaxes me a lot for some reason

I’ve followed you on instagram, for a couple of years now, always find your content so helpful and informative to me, as I want to eventually house a few snakes, or reptiles of sorts, I have housed, corn snakes, rat snakes, and a leopard gecko, in the past but you can never have enough information, you can never know enough! Thank you for being thoroughly knowledgeable about your enclosures, and about the species themselves! It’s really important and refreshing 😊

I really wanted a mangrove for a long while but hearing how they probably have more potent venom than mainstream thinking and how big they get made me talk myself out of it. I still think that animal inst a good fit for me as im afraid of becoming an animal hoarder like some big youtubers and id rather focus on the animals i want more like copperheads but really cool to be able to see them and learn about them from you. i know you will probably never see my comment but i just found your channel and im totally into it. i know you probably wont believe me but i didnt click your channel just because you are beautiful you actually are inspiring and motivating me and getting me hyped up about reptiles.

That's a VERY NICE paladarium!! I haven't had any reptiles or amphibians in many year's! I had a pair of Fire Belly Newts that lived to be 20yrs old.. I'd love to get some Amazon Milk Frog's next! That paladarium is amazing. I have always loved reptiles but haven't had any for some years. If I were going to jump back in I'd definitely want something arboreal and semi aquatic that I could keep in such a beautiful, active, and lush enclosure. Your build video was informative and made it look easy, although I know it's not! Mangroves are simply amazing animals and I'd love to have one, but I should probably start back out in the hobby with something a bit easier. My wife would kill me if I brought home a snake lol. Maybe a gecko or chameleon in a setup like this is in my future. If anyone can think of any other easier to keep species of snake that would do well in a paladarium like this please let me know. I'm not really beginner level I don't think. I've had a boa, python, and garter snake in the past; as well as geckos, a newt, tree frogs, turtles, and anoles as a kid/teenager but had to re-home some when i moved away to a place where it would have been impossible to keep herps. Now that I'm settled and have a an almost 3 yr old son who's into this stuff too I'm excited at the prospect of getting involved. I appreciate any suggestions! Again, awesome setup and congrats on the Mangrove.

Great habitat build. Reaper is beautiful. I love the colors of Mangrove snakes. They used to be popular in the pet stores here, but our climate is so dry it's really difficult to maintain adequately humidified enclosures. Therefore, I never tried to keep one.

This is absolutely stunning! Please can I ask how you maintain the paladarium? I only have fish at the moment so interested to know what the different needs are between aquarium water and paladarium water? X

White cloud mountain minnows would also be a good fish to add. they stay small and are beautiful and will breed without a heater.

Ive just found your channel and have binge watched so many videos! Obsessed!!! Apologies for the potentially silly questions- would the snake be a predator to the fish/shrimp? Would it want to eat them ? Also, how often would you have to redo/clean out the enclosure? I imagine that would be super hard!! Thanks so much for the informative videos:)

I did a set up like urs for my mangrove snake. The trouble is she won't eat and I think it's temp related. How do u heat that enclosure?

How long does it take to get a venomous snake license and where can I get one cause I want to keep a few venomous snakes

I would just like to say I would never add snails or duck weed to any build every just because of the way it reproduces so fast and so much it can be hard to control the population. I’m only speaking from experience and it’s not good
