This is the only video I could even find that actually showed how to make a studio from a regular closet. All the other videos are walk in closets which are basically just small rooms
Does sound still leak in while you are recording though? I want to do this but I keep hearing it’s not ideal because you can’t make it 100% soundproof like a studio booth for example. Are you able to still get clean recordings?
Sound is still going to leak, because there is a gap at the bottom of the door. I could cover it up to prevent that from happening, but that's about it. You'll more than likely still not be able to get a 100% soundproof on any recording booth built at home, unless you obtain the proper material for it. The material I'm using isn't going to make it 100% soundproof either, it will help dampen the sound and allow for a more crisp recording. So to answer your second question, yes my recordings are clean, even with the 2 inch gap on the bottom of the doors.
