My immediate thought was "I don't like this, it's different"; But reading the subtitles takes your attention away from the action, so I think I can get used to the robot voice.

The AI voice is amusing, but reading is easier for me and leaves the focus on the destructive sounds. As an aside, using the same track DankPods uses to compare headphones was a surprise!

I have to agree with the people saying the on screen text is better than the TTS. The timing is funnier and I guess being someone who has used RU-vid since it launched (meaning an old man yelling at clouds) I’m just never going to love having everything sound like TikTok.

The voiceover gives off the vibes of one of those lame reaction channels. I definitely prefer subtitles, feels more subtle and the funny things just come out of the blue, and it just makes it different from all the other channels, but you do you man!

Never been a fan of the AI voices, both as a narrator and as the test dummies. The yellow text was just a lot more entertaining and funny. But it never hurts to experiment

I'm ok with the voice. With the text I'd often find myself pausing the video or rewinding as I miss the action while reading the text. Maybe put the text back and add an extra audio channel with no voiceover to appease everyone?
