A nice tank design. I see a somewhat French inspired hull with an Easy 8 Sherman turret with a German gun. Kinda fitting for a Swiss tank. Fast tanks are an interesting concept in this game. Rather than weathering the enemy's fire, you just dodge, swing round, and blast them at a comfortable distance. So it's nice seeing a larger speedy tank in the game, rather than a small one to hide or swarm the enemy.
I have an idea for the next tank, The T28 HTC The constraints options would make its limited turret rotation possible 10:25 btw, you made a chinese pike nose, cool
A pike nose has a point at the front. Basically when you grabbed the one point to move it forward you should have grabbed all of of the ones in front and brought them forward. Great content as always.
WW2, US came up with the Little David, a 36" 914mm railway morter that could chuck its bombs 6 miles. it outside the german 800 mm but didn't out range it.
You totally could build an Archer. It's a totally bass-ackwards British concept of wanting to shoot 'n scoot more effectively. So instead of having a tank that can drive backwards as fast as it could forwards or even faster their brilliant idea was, "let's face the gun backwards so we go slower in reverse and then we can drive forward out of positions faster." It's not like making a transmission in the inverse order could have been easier. But you could totally make something like that now. You'd just have to reverse up to ridge lines, fire, and then run. I think the AI would have a field day trying to figure out how to use them and nothing says "Don't worry, mates. I've got this." quiet like having your gun pointed in the wrong direction.
i am pretty sure you are doing the engine displacement wrong. here you made, as you said, a 16 cylinder with each having 2L of displacement. the whole engine is a 2L (2000cc) with 16c. that is 0.125cc for each cylinder
a 700mm gun is beyond anything on a battleship XD for instance the naval guns on the Yamato were 46cm aka 460mms and those were the largest guns on any battleship
Could you try to make the TX-225 GAVw combat assault tank from Star Wars it already has tracks so it might work also these videos are amazing I really like the P1000 Ratte video
