@@timothyng3226 That's not the issue, issue is Nibiru is going to be in every single main deck and Evenly in every side deck, and now Swordsoul has zero out to it. Decks can't just spit out a Baronne or Savage Dragon before committing to their board anymore which hurts something like SS.
Thank you for letting me use this deck in Master Duel. I made only one change: Since Baronne de Fleur isn't banned there, I have it in my extra deck. Otherwise, it's an exact replica of your deck.
I don't get why you wouldn't max on ways to play around nib since baronne is banned. To make chaofeng you need ashuna + tenyi it doesn't make sense to not max on adhara also not maxing on vessel as well. The circle will be much worse with people moving to board breakers like sky striker engine droplet ect or if they decide to play hts only ones that are worth playing are droll and nib which circ doesn't help against too much
I tried testing sword soul. I’m not gonna sugar coat it, this deck needs a good pilot. Don’t get me wrong protos is fantastic and the deck is by nature a great jack of all traits. However without support from baron the lock is by nature a lot more fragile. while chizao and shaning are great, they’re not enough to back up protos. And though it’s naturally adaptive and it’s nice, but it’s also it’s Achilles heel. It can’t do everything it needs to do, and every option for non engine is a case of pick your poison of what you want to lose to. In short sword soul has its legs, and can easily ruin alot of decks. It’s just that it’s fragility requires a lot of patience Edit: thank you for coming to my Ted talk
So happy to see more people talking about this deck. Swordsoul Tenyi was my first deck and I will stick with it until the very end. I of course am branching out, but this deck will always be special to me.
Good explanations and everything I never used Chaofeng as a S.S.-Tenyi player tbch but now that I see how to use it I'm definitely going to start now. You explaining Mapura and Shthana was great i see it as another target for Protos now to use as a blanket effect.
i picked an almost identical version around 5 days ago and I learned almost all the combos, but playing hand traps instead of what he recommends at the end of the decklist, it seems difficult but you get the hang of it
I'm fr considering sitting out the next couple weeks of locals. Protos and Thunder Dragon Colossus are gonna be *everywhere* and I really don't need those cards in my life again.
Protos is played in a deck that's struggling to keep up and Colossus is at 1 in master duel and barely shows up (as well as the OCG). You should look at the britghside, seeing as summon limit and anti spell were more toxic and you won't see those anymore.
@@dreadlord8628uhhh yes he can use MD as a reference. If protos doesn't do much in master duel tournaments with swordsoul (that's best of 3) then you don't have to worry to much about it in the tcg. Same thing with collosus. Thunder dragon doesn't do much on ladder or MD tournaments neither. Literally we adapt to power creep and it's not a big deal.
Cali I kno I’m losing hope on Yugioh prices but are you sure the price of protons will drop. He was at 4 to 6 bucks and now tcgplayer got him between 45 and 100 or more. I think inflation is putting in too much work out here.😂
This is pretty much what I'm doing right now but still using shthana probably going to switch it though good video also I got my protos for 7.50 2 weeks before the ban now is like 50 dollars
You should give this a shot. 3 ringowurm and chaos angel. Ringo is a huge extender. Yeah you have to draw into it but making chaos angel with Draco and ringo while you have sinister and cheng on field is crazy. And if you have summit you can bring back Draco too
This deck seems a little complicated for me since im returning but ima give it a chance I really love all this cards design and I really wanna like get into decks like this so might as well start with swordsoul cool names and art style I like them all

But there is one thing i wanna ask you, Did read the new White Wood Card that searches a tuner spellcaster? because that could lead into a ecclesia= Lvl 2 + Lvl 4 Tuner Ecclesia/Moye Ye + Token= Nice Combos like Draw 2 + Ice Barrier Sychro 10 + the 2 Ice barrier monsters

Sorry im a big noob so this question might be stupid. I'm playing master duel only and if I'm not mistaken protos has been unlimited there all the time, right? I thought master duel has the same ban list as TCG or has it its own ban list?
They're not interchangeable, Icejade Margarine is part of your Level 10 toolbox while Pepsiman is your Level 11 for when your field is a Level 4 Tuner Token and a Level 7 Tenyi.
You should cut 1 desires for a third thrust because the third desires only gives you have an extra ~4.7% chance of drawing 2-3 and gain an extra ~7.5% chance of drawing exactly one (if the numbers look off its because i did the math with 7 cards in hand since you draw 2 from desires) while thrust you get an extra ~7.5% chance of drawing exactly one and only an extra ~2.5% chance of drawing 2 plus you could thrust into talent or desires going second
Your math is off. There is a 34% chance of drawing a simgular 3 of in a 40 cards deck vs 22% when playing 2 of. Also, you are not guaranteed to be able to activate thrust.
It's an older card but have you considered a copy of Mariamne, the true dracophoenix? She combos well with swordsoul/tenyi builds, helps add attributes to the gy by special summoning herself using her own effect then can banish the top 4 cards of the opponent's deck if both destroyed monsters were wind attribute, combine this with a level 1 tuner and you have a powerful chengying summon as his power will increase on summon by 400 points due to mariamne's effect alone. Also the usual called by the grave can help boost chengying as well as disrupt the opponent's counter plays. You could also add unmasked dragon to selectively summon a wyrm when it's destroyed by battle. Metaphys Ragnarok is a level 4 wyrm tuner who has great potential here too. If you're special summoning wyrms from the gy a copy of magma dragon can give you an extra wyrm if it's summoned from the gy opening up an immediate synchro play if used on Metaphys Ragnarok or a link play if tenyi or swordsoul, possibly even a fusion play if you add a copy of polymerization to the main deck and mudragon of the swamp to the extra deck.
