Lol 2nd: Me- "Why the actual hell did I put Cody back in the lineup?" 3rd: I was very close to a rage on the Correa homer since on my end it looked like the ball clipped through Mays' glove. Hit the hell outta it though. Also, I asked if Arenado was throwing for skins on that pop out... if only we knew where that game was going >.> 3rd (my half) : Ruth selling hard there. I thought he'd at least do that hockey goalie style body block or something but nah, he just went for it but didn't actually. Nextly, yeah, Freddie is prolly my favorite finest card this year. Got him to PL5 via online and his BA was like .430 when he made it. Card is bonkers. 4th inning; "Man, I wonder what the theme is that has him rocking Clint as a starter." Side note, I think Clint heard me call him out there... 4th (my half): Anderson in CF did you no favors. Was sad to see your hometown boy sell you on it. 5th: I think I cursed the sub who had me playing Trout in LF and Salvy for that slow tag animation. Gutsy call on your end but props for testing his arm. 6th: I made a comment along the lines of, "Oh, I probably shouldn't use his hometown guy against him." Welp, I was right lol. "Fucking Clint. That'll learn me to use an Angel against Koogs." You lit him up and I'm lucky I escaped down 2 at that point tbh. 6th my half: Not going to lie, I was very happy to see Kenley. But you had me on my heels that 1st inning w/ him. 7th: Yeah, I'm weird w/ Goose. He just works for me. Also, in hindsight, "Man Nolan is having a rough day" is some other worldly foreshadowing. 7th (my half): Yeah, I can admit when I get that ol' SDS RNG in my favor like this. Told my chat I'd have pulled his (Arenado) mid-game for something like that. Then Ruth's AI does the "Nah, Anderson totally has this, I'ma wait" shtick. Swinging bunt was one of those "That's Baseball" type hits that annoys us all to death. And yeah, Nado jumping and just... not aiming his glove was uh, something else. I had secondhand "oof" for you on that one. You pretty much summed up the 8th onward with the "I'm trying to stay in this" comment. I knew I got bailed in the 7th. A few of my hits were decent but that should've been a 1-2 run inning, not a 5 spot. That bottom of the 8th trash hit against Mo is kinda iconic for him all things considered though right? Nice little sub .100 xoba tappers. Well played though man nonetheless, Clint scared the hell outta me haha.
