Anyone want to know how I wasn't crushed by the acceleration? The gravity pulses accelerate every cell/molecule/atom of my body and ship equally, so there is no asymmetrical force that causes me to get crushed. As apposed to a regular spaceship that is accelerating due to rockets and you are in a seat being pushed from the back which causes you to feel an uneven force that can crush you. Just like when you are falling you are accelerating very fast (1G) but you don't fell like you even have a force on you because there is no normal force under your feet.
He just travelled at the 67% of speed of light.. For 3 minutes.. That means he travelled at a speed 201000 km/s speed.. Travelled for 3 minutes means he travelled a distance of 36,180,000 km.. Distance between earth and moon is 384, 400 km.. Can we just appreciate this fact that this man made a trip farther than moon to make a video.. Keep it up👍🏼😉
--- eh-- he gets to experience 2 more minutes of life than he otherwise would have-- unless traveling that fast in a spaceship some how reduces your overall life span by that much.
Yes, he is 2 min younger, if he travelled for a few months or a year? That timegap would be much bigger and when he gets back, he will be years younger than everyone else. So he travelled into the future, thus extending his life.
just because this is so high up in the comments. yes, and NASA basically uses walkie talkies to talk to voyager. walkie talkie (short FRS for Family Radio Service) operates at 462 Mhz or 467 Mhz. if you cranked them bad boys up to 560,000,000 MHz, (560THz actually, in case i miscounted the zeros) you would see the transmissions as green light radiating from the antenna. radio waves are the same type of electromagnetic emissions as the light you see, and follows the same speed limits (give or take). though, in the case of voyager, the downloads are at 2.3GHz and 8.4GHz.
You could use extremely powerful telescopes on Earth and on the spaceship to look at the other clock. This amounts to the same thing as sending a message but avoids the need for retuning or accounting for voice frequency changes.
My girlfriend; Why haven't you called me in the last 10 Minutes Me: Nah sweety it's time dialation it's only been 2 on my end Also Me; *sleeping on the couch that night*
I can time travel. How? *disclaimer you can only time travel thru time depending on your result* Easy. 1) Sleep 2) Wake up Now im in the future. But before you time travel check the time and after you time travel check the time again to calculate how much you traveled to the future 5th Edit: lol
Actully NASA should had got it months or a few years before (not decades because they didn't go very near) and because of time dialation NASA got the pic a few years later
Action lab sometimes: We'll make this, we'll explode this, we'll test this, we'll try this. Action lab some... Other times: Ok so today I'll time travel.
How the heck did he get this to work... like he can’t travel at 66% speed of light cuz that is impossible for the tech we have now.... *He Must have used vibranium*
I really like how he explains science with his videos. He makes it more easy to understand those complicated concepts. Especially with hiw he does it with this kind of acting settings.
Anurag Srivastava the voice would probably stretch out and it would seem to play in slow motion or speed up right according to her time stamps. So from her perspective it would start really slow and speed up a lot in the end. ( it’s just an opinion)
I think there will be stretching and shrinking of voice depending on the direction of spaceship. And the frequency of voice will also change accordingly.
He's not streaming, he talks and then he sends the message. So if he streams it probably will have overlay of sounds or those two minute will not be caught at all...
What would have happened if u were moving in an orbit around her. Then the signals would travel the same distance. Also one more thing, if we can control gravity , can we control time?
In an orbit u r always accelerating so it will cause time dilation but the signals will likely to be more uniform while communicating.. Controlling gravity and time is not actually controlling, its perception.
I always struggled with the zero time concept for any particle travelling at the speed of light, mainly that we, as humans, associated the passage of time as existing. One could argue that without time, nothing exists. The photons would agree as they are generated and obliterated in an instant, from their point of view, thus they didn’t even noticed there was a universe around. If time is money, that would make photons the poorest fellow in our wierd and fascinating universe...
How to time Travel: 1: wait five seconds 2: sleep for thirty hours 3: smack your head on a wall for five seconds 4: You just travelled forty hours into the future!
This was awesome. One of my biggest questions is: If we head towards an object in space that produces light, and we go the speed of light, at what point does the past become the present?
i feel like as you get closer to it, you will see it aging in front of you. after all, from earth the light you see from a star 10 billion light years away from you is light that is 10 billion years old. so if you approached it you would be constantly seeing "newer" light, until when you reach the object you are essentially seeing the light as it is in the present. from earth it could look like a star. when you get there it could actually have been a black hole for many eons. if you could travel instantly defying the laws of physics, you could see immediate changes in objects many light years away. a regular star from earths perspective could become a red giant, super nova, black hole, etc
It doesnt matter, even if you travelled at 99.99% the speed pf light, light will still catch you taking the same duration, meaning it will travel the same speed. And btw, this video is fake buddy you know that right?
@@spaceman-hu7rf are you really think this is real? And time machine is real if you can going on the speed of light and/or with the gravity pull that larger than Earth, with one/both of them you can actually travel into the future(not the past) but it's not yet discover so we can only wait
Don't forget that every paradox we've ever encountered meant that we were being stupid. Your voice would never reach the walkie talkie unless you're saying the speed of sound is also constant in any inertial reference frame.
NASA: You need to be trained to go to space and also have on the space suit. Action lab: *goes to walmart gets a cheap clock and kid walkitokie and a blinking redlight amd a cheap labcoat* guys i build a time mashine and travel to space
Hey @TheActionLab, since aerogel is 99.8% air, I was wondering what would happen if you put it in a vacuum chamber. Btw love your videos, beautiful content, keep up the good work! 💪
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TDgBYO0piOY.html He actually already did that two years ago. Amazing to think that it was that long ago.
I'm gonna need more behind the scenes. How did one man without the help of nasa or space x make a space ship? Did he actually go into space? Or did he just stay on the ground? I'm so confused
I got confused by this too. Basically he’s trying to tell us about the twin paradox (which is a theoretical concept) by acting out how it could look for reals. He didn’t actually go into space, and he didn’t have any machinery, he just was trying to show us what the theory meant instead of trying to explain it to us. He just likes to pretend it’s real. Hope that helps!
I was also very confused by this. However notice how the light flickers when he turns around at 3 minutes. If it was staged, the light wouldn't flicker.
Lmao . I did go into the future , watch an episode then go the next week n by this finish the season . Then go to the future again see the next seasons like this .
I always wanted to see a mad scientist, but instead here we have an absolutely normal looking genius guy with crazy experiments. I see time-travel thumbnail on actionlab, I CLICK IT....!!
OH, Come on brother! All ya need is a set of headphones with some good biaural beats a lazy boy chair and a fat joint of chronic and your off to wherever and whenever you wish. 😀 Warning lost moments of time may be a side effect so consult your clock regularly. 😉
I can travel in time, when i'm not interested in something i shut down my brain and concentrate to something, but my body does everything,it moves freely and does what it has to do,then i think with my brain and i'm out of this world, when everything boring stops i wake up and i'm back in world, but i don't remember what i did just only remember my thoughts.
An excellent demonstration of the relativistic Doppler effect. The usual treatment of time dilation umakes use of a continuum of observers everywhere in each reference frame and the light propagation time to a fixed observer at the start point of the round trip is neglected. That leads to lots of trouble when trying to convince people that the moving clock actually runs slower from the point of view of the non moving reference frame. as soon as light propagation times are taken into account the paradox is resolved. For a single observer receding clocks always appear to run slower and approaching clocks always appear to run faster. From the point of view of the non moving observer the effects are not symmetrical and overall the moving clock will be slower when it has returned to the start point.
i will disagree that u have traveled at 66% of light speed for 3 mins that is actually 3.8x10^10 m (1000 times the distance between earth and moon) and still your radio seems to be working correctly where did u get this huge runway?
Are you saying the distance between the Earth and moon is 22,130 miles (35,615 km)? Beacuse 38,000,000,000 meters * 0.001 is obviously 38,000,000 meters, but the distance between the Earth and moon is about 11 times that. And the distance you would travel at 0.66c for 3 minutes is 35615344010.4 meters, or 3.5615 * 10 ^10 meters ( 2.213 * 10 ^7 miles). Also, it's easy to tell this viedo isn't real, as from Vsauce3: "This was supposed to be a demonstration!!". Also, please don't feel bad about this, I'm just saying the truth. We make mistakes, it's okay.
@@xavierabhishekrozario7267 What I am saying to you is that divide the number of times you claimed 35,000,000,000 meters is longer between the distance from the Earth to the moon by 11. I would say change 1,000 to 93 (not exaclty 11, I was rounding up.)
At this moment I paused the vid at 1:33: "I built a space ship that can travel at near relativistic speed". Umm, okay, this is going to be a good one, please continue... ;-)
I feel like this is not real because I don't think humans can go 66% the speed of light I think that they did this to show how the twin paradox works and special relativity
Yes this is like a simulation. Like his neutron star video. But this is exactly what going to happen if u travel at 66% speed of light. And he didnt meant to trick u into thinking he really travel at 66% of light. Maybe he do a little but clearly not meant to make a hoax of a breakthrough. ;)
This "no time for photon/instant travel" conclusion can somehow explain why a single photon particle can act as a wave, interfere with itself and create interference pattern.
(This comment is not original) *How to time travel:* Step 1: Sleep (You may find yourself in a strange world after this step, but that's okay) Step 2: Wake up (This step is automatic) Congratulations! You have time traveled for a few hours into the future!
Time travel is not possible with our physical body's. But through our minds I believe it's possible. We only use 10% of our minds, could you imagine if you could use 100% of your brain?
@@HamoTheUltimate Well God allowed the apostle John to see events in the future. Of course John said he had these dreams or was he experiencing time travel. He then wrote Revelation's. Was that time travel? Of course God can make anything happen anywhere anytime anyplace. Can Mankind duplicate or reproduce what John experienced Maybe. I guess only if God allows it to happen. Some people claim to be time travelers. There is an old picture from the 30's that show a man dressed in more modern clothes then people around him. Was that proof of time travel? And if you were from the future would you mingle with the locals, what would happen if people started to ask questions, and what would you tell them. Would they lock you up? God has a plan for mankind and I don't think he would allow people to move around in time and screw things up for him. I think if time travel is possible I think it will be like John's experience like a dream where you can see everything around you but no one can see you. That's my thought's
