Foxy, I'm so glad I found your channel about a year ago. You're a riot! You and Beardy and many other Minecraft RU-vidrs have gotten me through some rough moments over the last year. Thank you is not nearly adequate enough!
I believe that Create: New Age allows you to create Bottles o' Enchanting by energizing empty bottles, which makes for a free source of XP; just energize the bottles, pass them over an item drain, turning them into Liquid Experience (via Create: Enchantment Industry), and then just loop the bottles back to the energizer.
I know you've already got the wither skele farm completed, but an interesting idea would be steam power. Not only are you producing coal to power it, but it would involve blazes, which is on theme for the nether-based spawn farm. It would also be very industrial which is on theme for the overall coal mine storyline build. Just a brainstorm I thought I'd share. Love your series! :)
If you just put dye - backpack - dye in a horizontal line you can do it with only 2 dyes. IIRC dyes to the left mix for the main color like leather armor and dyes to the right do the same but for the straps.
You gotta put the dye to the LEFT of the backpack lol. It's not a shapeless recipe. Left = dye the whole backpack, Right = secondary strap color. Also, you can pick up the backpack instantly if you shift+right click with an empty hand.
If i remember correctly you can rename da backpacks of the Sophisticated Backpacks at the anvil. And you can set it to display an item at the outside, helped ma a lot keeping my 8 backpacks organized. But i think you already know that :)
Hey Foxy, I enjoyed the vertical crusher idea for the Wither Skeletons. It makes me wonder how well using a floor of mechanical saws would have worked. Once they get minced, I assume the water could still drive the items to a designated point. Also, love the updates to the Storage mod, great job on adding the controllers/trim.
if you want to have an off/on button, connect it from the top with glue and have a hidden minecart assembler in the ceiling with a redstone link. Redstone signal will turn it into a contraption, which will turn off the spawners!
Foxy, can you fix your BitsAndBobs mod for Fabric? Fabric's system for fluids uses 81,000 units per bucket, or 81 per millibucket. But for your mod you always enter the amount of fluids based on the 1,000 units system, or 1 per millibucket. This leads to all the recipes that require fluids, being wrong and requiring 81 times less fluid. Thank you I appreciate it!
If you want to fix it yourself, you can make a Datapack that overwrites all the recipes that require fluids, with the correct fluid amount number. It's not hard to do
Nice Story telling lol. If that new mod is like the Storage Drawers mod, you should not use the trims like cables to connect great distances or even short ones, you should get a proper storage mod, drawers are use to complement storage mods
I'm sure others have said this already, but never hurts to be repetitive, but you can dye different parts of the backpacks by moving the dye to the top or bottom of the backpack too.
I'd like to suggest the mod Zenith. It is a fabric port of the mod Apotheosis and adds many different things including, the ability to modify spawners, allowing them to be activated by redstone and work even when no player is near.
Backpacks can be changed colors depending on what slot u put the dye in lol and it will change different parts of it it’s confusing to figure out alone but easy once u get it😊
I noticed every time something spins the wrong direction, you have to add another gearbox. If you find it annoying I recommend adding Create: Connected to your modpack. The fabric version is still experimental but for all that it has, it should make things at least significantly easier.
Chutes are terrible at picking up items from the world, since you do not have crazy rates, you should just use Hoppers. Those should able to pick up items before they slip to the slide.
brother... fill all 8 slots around backpack!... repeat 4 times to be sure no other color is left. one to left is only lines... bottom is something else.. etc.. ALL SLOTS DYE. dyes all sides and faces! 32 of each color ofcourse :D please now go make your wanted backpacks!!
The mod pack doesn't have all the mods in it. I can't find the Simple Storage controller and the simple storage interface. Am I missing something? Sorry I found the mod but the storage part isn't working correctly
