lol, Clare, trust me, anyone that can afford a house like this, will have a maid who does all the shopping, including making sure there's more than enough toilet paper to go around. Also, if you're interested, a quick history lesson from the States on what it means when something is a "Vanderbilt Model"! Whenever something is a "Vanderbilt Model", they mean that it's HUGE enough to pass for a small palace, top of the line in luxury, and with no expense spared. The things in the wine cellar aren’t pulls you lay the bottles of wine on them, and the thing behind the kitchen is called a butler’s pantry it usually has like a sink and sometimes an extra oven.

Clare! The glass bit in the dining room is a more modern take on a wine cellar :) and the “pre-kitchen” is a butler’s kitchen where the butler has their own area to prepare or arrange food.

The little nook for the wine cellar the things on the walls hold the wine! It can be sticks and it can be just normal wine holders that kinda look like honeycomb things!

Clare you can use siding to make “garage doors”, have a block of wall on each side to make it look separate from the siding for the door. I use windows across the topish to define it more. You can also use those thin straight pillars to frame it

Clare! That little area in the kitchen that you didn't understand is called the Butler's pantry. Basically on one side there's silverware, and platters (lots of kitchen tools) and the other side is the pantry (snacks, food etc) where it's clutter GALORE! It's kinda weird that you can walk through it but I hope you build one in the future cause I know you'd have a blast doing so! 💓

i love how everything surprises her about normal things in a house. my florida house is EXACTLY like this and i’m laughing so hard on how she gets exited about little things maybe because they don’t have them in the uk. also, yes that was a winery. they lay the wine down on its side with the top part laying on one of the “sticks” and the bottom end on the other :)

I use Zillow for inspiration all of the time. There’s garage murals in the gallery, and of course there’s tons of them on tsr and tumblr. Good job though!!! I have a family in mind for this house.

I love this build!!! It would be so cool if you did another build from Zillow but in two parts, where part one is CC shopping to get the build as accurate as possible, then part two is the actual build. (I know your game is struggling though, so maybe after you get your PC fixed)

Hi Clare, just fyi, Mutske and some nynaeve design doors and windows on sims resource are fixed. Some others on their tumblers are fixed too. There are threads that can link you to them if u want variety. I just googled them.

Clare the room behind the kitchen is the Chef's Kitchen (Cause the people who live there are RICH RICH) The cabinet is for wine/other drinks and you display them by placing them on the stick out poles.

I live in Texas and it’s nice if you visit the country side, or places like the Galleria, San Antonio, Moody Gardens, Kemah Boardwalk, and other attractions. Just make sure to stay away from the bad side of Houston if you visit there! Anyways I love all your builds but this has to be one of my favorites of all times and I agree with the comment that you should have a family move in ❤️. Personally I think it would be nice for the Generation Ten: Blue of your Not So Berry Challenge (since it has “blue vibes”) and if you read the description on lilsimsie’s tumbler page, it seems to fit. Though I feel like other people may say that there’s not enough blue. Idk just a thought.
