Thank buddy, I'll see if I can put a tutorial together soon. I usually find that when I find a good location it's easier to get an image in my head of how it could look. I also find that looking at lots of inspiration towns or villages before building really helps with the planning and layout of how i want things to look. =)

@@BlueNerdMC I think it could be a good start to show the outline of the plan with block counts between columns and how high your columns are. That would be enough for some of us I bet. A block-by-block is great too and I’ve learned a ton from what you already have on the site. Maybe this one is a bit more intermediate though considering how long I’m sure they take.

This is lovely! May I suggest that a little goatherd's spot up higher on the mountain would be in keeping with the area? It seems like you have a perfect little chalet style build. Excited to see how this world turns out! Love your gardening as always.

I think it would be super nice if there were a small lake or a spring on the mountain in the snow, which flows into a stream, which then flows into the valley right next to your cabin. Btw I love the cabin so much!

Having the grass blocks be green on the side when it’s only a 1 level drop down makes it look so much nicer. I wish that was in vanilla bedrock

You could build a bar/tavern like build, a place where you can get good food and warm drinks. You get cold out there when you are skiing.

I know this is coming from left field but it would be cool if you built a “tavern” / chair lift entrance, connected by a chairlift to the top of the mountain where you could build a “resort” / iron farm…. I mean resort rustic chalet and underneath an iron farm. Using fence post rope connect to the chairlift tavern next to your base.

Looking forward to the inspiration this series will give me! Also do you use a controller? Your camera movements are really smooth when you look around and I love it when you show things off, it gives me time to take it in.

Thank you so much Rusty, no I don't use a controller I just have my mouse sensitivity turned down so that movements are not so fast as I know it can make the video awkward to watch =)

The right cliff area I feel needs more houses. I think seeing as though it has such a nice view down and across the valley (or future lake) that it makes sense that residents would opt to build and live there. Maybe several houses all along that height would look good. Dont have to have them as houses but disguised as auto farms etc inside or under. Maybe have a commercial area lower down the hill or perhaps off to one or both sides of the residential area with farming and animal husbandry areas in the valley below. Whatever you decide I'm sure will look fantastic. Super hyped for this series! Please please please if any builds look as good as the starter home, could you consider a tutorial for us.

An observatory of some sort with a map room would be awesome to see on the top of the mountain or around the top. Also you could scatter your villagers jobs around as various different buildings. I know it's safer to just have a trading hall but I've always preferred the thematic approach.

I think a barn next to the cabine wouldn't be out of place at least for goats ^.^ Since there is more grass and a cooler weather from spring to autumn in mountain I know people use to travel to the mountain with there goats and cows (but not the black and white cows it's to cold for them ...) during the day and came back before the night that is the wolves hunting time.

Hello BN, I like this building spot. Instead of a lake I like to suggest a canon/gorge with a wild mountain river leading into the cave in the background. Also a nice opportunity to build some bridges. Best regards! :)
