I built an entire off grid homestead in less than a week  

Final reveal of the Cabin on a hill build.
We have started building a cabin as part of this project. The template for the cabin was prepared in the first week to ensure that it complements the size of the base. This week, we began by cutting down miniature timbers. These timbers are made from three-quarter inch dowel rods that were split in half using a bandsaw. To achieve a realistic wood texture, we meticulously hand-scraped the timbers and applied a diluted raw umber paint to highlight the intricate details.
Once the timbers were ready, we hot glued them to the sides and back of our cabin template. After securely attaching the logs, we took the cabin back to the bandsaw to trim them down. We then did a dry fit on the diorama, placing the log cabin on the hill for the first time. It was an exciting moment to witness the progress coming together.
