I do...my Dad. It is an impressive amount of skills. Especially in today's, no work, won't work, attitude. If I hear, "That's not my job." One more time!
@@ShaunHensley still good for events or not you've gotta make good food that people are willing to buy in order to recoup your costs for not only the 3 trucks but also the ingredients for the food and the employees as well
@@TheJeracuda the trick is live events. Being one of few options and most of your customers are drunk already from your neighboring trucks. So you could serve literal garbage and still profit. But the gimmick of a wood burning stove on wheels will catch more eyes I feel like.
@@spray_cheese actually it doesn't really work that way. It would at first but then if the food is absolute shit people won't come back for more and they'd also warn their friends to avoid it. Trust me in the summer where I live around Lake Superior we have a lot of these type of trucks and they don't all do that great of business as their food isn't all that good
Would love a follow up video of the truck having the remaining bits and pieces installed, as well as the Bricks on Wheels team putting their finishing touches on it.
I admire the workshop setup alot. Also having the fam there to help or just to see the product you create with your bare hands is something the young ones will remember always
Austin, I enjoyed your latest pizza truck build! Your common sense approach to problem solving is top notch! The pizza guys are lucky to have you as a turn key resource! Great having your family involved!
As a mechanical engineer I can say that I have just seen excellent work done with a lot of common sense and sharpness. I just subscribed to the channel because I enjoy seeing people who like to work hard progress.
I always thought of this as a unique business...most pizza places cook, then deliver. This service drives to you, parks, and THEN cooks the pizza. The ultimate in freshness. Its a good idea!
Great Project and great outcome. I see one possible problem: If the fan is running it could suck fumes and CO out of the oven. It would be safer if you switch the fan around and get it into pushing air into the truck. If it is necessary, I don't know but CO is no joke and the fan seems big enough
2:00 lol. My grandpa welds in his garage, right next to his 2018 F150. It is COVERED in welding splatter and whatnot. He also refuses to use a bed liner.
Brilliant, unbelievable, you are a genius. I truly enjoyed watching the whole process. I'm still shaking my head on how incredible it turned out and how gifted you are, truly.
You are what will be sadly be missing in this country in a couple of decades - full, all around craftsman. Tremendous build - made in America with a bit of ingenuity thrown in. Great job.
Good thing you had kids or you'd have never gotten this done.🤣 I can't say enough good things about this video. Your niche business, your talent and skills, your filming, editing and voice over?! I was fascinated! Thank you.
Insanely cool setup and the video made it look as easy as throwing together a flat pack from ikea, definitely tells a story about how much thought and attention you've put into it.
this is just so delightful. I've never watched you before, just a new yt recommendation. Straight to the point narration, with some jokes and shout-outs to companies you like. I can just hear the honesty and hard work in your voice. plus, not having a long, stupid intro. man after my own, entertainment seeking heart
I’ve seen a lot of things on RU-vid, but this… man… you can really see the knowledge and skill here. Okay, maybe you’re not a grandmaster in painting and bodywork (though I think it turned out pretty well anyway), but you’re very impressive in the other areas! Congratulations, and your wife must be very proud of you. Teach your daughter everything you know! :)
On that Hood: What I have found, if you sand down and clean the area around OLD broken fiberglass with a bunch of Acetone & rags, it will soften up the old resin to where the new stuff bonds better and will have a much better chance not to crack in the future?
Honestly, what can I say about your fabrication skills that haven't been said about Leonardo da Vinci's skills when he painted the Mona Lisa? It's amazing seeing you bring your ideas to life by your style of video editing. Respect!
Love the idea and your kids working together and I hope you don’t mind if I steal most of the plans (if I ever get back on my feet). Let me know if you need free labor for learning with weld work and metal making. 😂❤
You're an unbelievable kinda person. Not only did you build up that truck. You made every part needed for the job and created your own designs along the way. You, sir, are a blessed and very smart man. When i grow up, i wanna be like this guy.
I rarely subscribe to channels. The last channel I subscribed to was literally 4+ years ago, you earned my like and sub. A true jack of all trades, I want to learn those skills.
Congratulations 🥂 to you mate, you are very talented man, hard work, designer, and so on!! Incredible skills, talented, perseverance, determination, dedication and love in what you do, for all you do. God Bless you your family and your business!
My God I completely agree with ALL the comments about your skill sets. WHAT is it you CAN'T DO? You blow me away, you are a COMPLETE work of art, engineering, mechanic and a complete master of so many skills. That's incredible considering how young you are...AMAZING, BRILLIANT and TALENTED HUMAN BEING!!!
Hey you said you will track down any tool you used in your video...I don't know where you got yours, but I'm looking for a wife to work with me in the shop... I already got one, and love it very much, but maybe there's something wrong, cause she won't help me in the shop, too dirty and smelly...so maybe you can track down a manufacturer, maybe there's an upgrade..😅I know she's been looking for some upgrades for me too... you know, I'm not the best with chores in the house 😉
Holy shit! I see these trucks at small events and even had their pizza, pretty great stuff! I saw your thumbnail and wondered why it looked so familiar. I always had a genuine curiosity with the truck. So excited to actually see it being built! Awesome work!
WOW.. I just stumbled across your channel and i have to say that this is the most impressive video I've ever seen. You sir, are some sort of wizard to know every aspect of building this truck. From general know how to the little tricks like putting a bucket on the stack so when u cut thru the roof, there wasn't a mess inside! I feel most of this goes unnoticed, but holy shit man. That was IMPRESSIVE! Keep up the excellent work!
This is definitely not your first rodeo! You thought of things that I wouldn’t have, to make this pizza truck road and service worthy! The end results were stunning!
I work in the concession business and I am a fabricator by necessity. I build all my own equipment. Love the channel. I don’t get to do much food service but I operate and maintain a fleet of game trailers that see use and abuse at the county fairs.
@29:30 If you were to build another, identical truck like this, I think that using scrap container siding - like you did for the door - would look better aesthetically. Superb my friend.
It looks easy in the video, but it isn't for just one person. I've been working on mine for last 2 years in my free time. It has been a bit stressful and difficult since I don't have a workshop with the proper tools, but I've enjoyed every step.
Hey Austin, I'm impressed 👍 what an incredible job you do from scratch on these projects. Yes it's a challenge on every project you do, but you're a pro and I'm sure it got everyone's attention. You are a winner 🏆. Keep going pal.
Man ud wana hope noone flings those doors open quick they smash the glass.also how does it handle the stresses of driving i honestly wouldve thought it would shatter the first time that truck flexs or hits bad roads.
VinyB and Austin need to do a collab. Or at least visit each others shops. I'd love to see opposing reviews of the Smartbusa and Trophy Truck! Shop tours would be another great video.
That was one of the most detailed and enjoyable video build. Nice job on everything from the design, build, camera recording and angles, to editing, detailed scripting, and vocals. Everything was perfect. Look forward to watching more videos. 👍👍
I don't know what is better: The name of the forklift, or mentioning the cloning. Also, editing for a statement; your skill is great and I don't understand how people cannot accept the price for your work.
