Great ideas kill two birds with one stone. - drainage and shower 😊 with the shower unit do you leave it outside in the elements all the time or you disconnect and store inside. Taking it outside only after when you are going to use it?
Awesome project, love your videos. Do you plan on adding any additional privacy screens or is that less of a priority since it's on your property? Keep it up!
I was commenting to my husband how jealous I was of you being able to dig in your property. (We live on the banks of the Mississippi, and our yard is FULL of massive rocks.) And then I saw the bedrock that you have. Damn.
My local landfill is a good source for free material. I be caught contractors getting ready to dump a trailer full and talked them into bringing the choice pieces to my place. My wife says don't come home with more than I take
You are so inventive. I think the idea of getting free material is a real winner. I watched you build steps up your hill and want to try that with our hill. We are in the hills of east Tennessee.
For people who can't afford to have an outdoor boiler, there are camp shower kits that consist of a large dark pouch that you fill with water in the morning and leave in the sun all day then at the end of the day you have warm enough water for a shower :)
How long does that battery hold for your tools? I’m considering a Generac 2500 portable generator so I can operate tools + satellite but I’d love the silence more with solar battery. 😊
I know my sweetheart would love an outdoor shower, but NGL the thing that most appeals to me in this is... the drainage! We've got some areas that collect a lot of water when it rains and a good deal of it heads toward the house. Would love to redirect that.
I just found your channel and I’m loving it. You build the way I love to, reusing, building smart, with minimal impact to your gorgeous surroundings. Thank you for your videos and inspiration!
