I think part of the reason for the success of your channel is you understand a large portion of your viewers don't play Rust and therefor simply want chill entertainment. "F*cking bears, man!" will never get old 😂

For sure! I have never played this game. I will never play this game. I hate PVP. However, it is absolutely captivating to watch someone so competent at "Lord of the Flies: The Video Game" that they make it seem like sunshine and rainbows and a chill ass time. I've owned the game for about 3 years now but have only played about 2 hours total. Always rage quit after playing for 15 minutes and being killed. Too hard to learn the game when you get instantly killed all the time so I watch Willjum and Welyn instead 🤣

I am not a RU-vidr or get payed money to play rust and I find it very easy to play 3+ days of a rust wipe and keep a base for full monthly wipe

You have to remember many youtubers play countless wipes to be able to find a video worthy one possibly draining out their energy and anything can stop th3ir wipe (alot of the time stream snipers)

For beginners: 1. Each separate building requires materials to be fed regularly into an internal tool cupboard (TC). In turn, the TC will prevent any strangers from building within a certain distance. You must put a lock on it, and authorise the names of friends allowing them to open it and feed it, too. 2. A player can not climb up a vertical wall, so they place little platforms on the side of the wall, to act as steps. Of course, if it's your building you can use the door or take down a wall to get inside because you have build privileges (access to the TC.) Platforms that can't be placed, remain red when trying. 3. Additional external TCs increase the "no-build" area surrounding a base of placed correctly. He uses a certain number of temporary triangles on the ground to measure distance away from the internal TC for maximum overlap. He also leaves a door to enter that tiny building so he can feed the external TC regularly, thereby keep the building's walls intact. He can also hide a repawn bed and kit in that new bulding. The external TC needs a lock too.

@@sammousavi8221soft side is the “side of the wall that goes inside the base” softside is al lot easier to break. Ideally u always wat the ‘hard side’ on the outside of the base. U can spot the difference in the color of the wal and the pattern, the wooden softside wall wil have an wooden beam (like an X) which u can see. Stone has a ‘smoother patern’ Metal is easy to spot because you can see white. Armoured is hard to explain

It’s nice to see a rust tuber actually play the game. Don’t get me wrong I enjoy spoon and blazed vids, but they only care about finding boom, raiding, and then call it a day. The majority of us “normies” actually enjoy seeing the story played out and even the L’s taken. Seeing a complete wipe play out is refreshing.

I’ve watched every video that either one of them post and still will lol. I’m not throwing shade at them. It’s just the same thing over and over again. Spawn in, get cards for oil, build a 2x2, get a lot of boom, then risk it all at the end without any preparation lol. Again I actually enjoy watching them, it just gets stale.

Comparison really is the death of joy. I also don’t really agree with your criticism, there’s a ton of spoonkid videos that are multi-hours long with storylines going on. He also shows the L’s more than any rust youtuber I think, it’s almost obnoxious how often he bag fumbles lmao. The real difference is that creators like Wiljum spend time crafting and narrating a narrative. Spoonkid is just raw gameplay with his commentary + boring/unnecessary bits edited out.

44:45 Wind turbine energy production depends on the height counted from the foundation level, not a map level. You can build 1x1 with 5 levels in the lowest part of the map and wind turbine will produce more energy than on the base on the top of the biggest mountain with less levels than the aforementioned base.

I'm turning 55 next week. It was Vertigo that turned me onto Rust back in 2016 when I was 47. Watching Vertigo and Prince Vids made me wanna start playing. Lol it was a rabbit hole because it cost me close to $1000 to build a PC that would run the game. Now I have it on PC, a gaming laptop and I have the console version. Plays decent on PS5 NextGen.

Lol, viewers that don't play? I used to play Rust, now I have kids, and can not grind after work! When I tryz I'll spend all my free time making a small bunker base, and never get past teir 2, or it will decay before I get on again. Even the Prim King has a more lit wipe than that, so I don't play anymore! I wipe vicariously through you, dude! Love the content, especially the duo/squad wipes. It's just a cut. Look at 17:20 and use the , and . keys to snap between the frame before he aims at the guy and the frame where he's on the guy. You can see his character has moved to the left because the rock in the bottom right corner jumps.

How to make a Bacon and Cheese Omelette Grilled Cheese Sandwich Omelette. Take 3 Organic Pete and Gerry eggs and mix them with a small amount of milk. Then, put the mixture into a 10 inch round frying pan. Put the lid of the frying pan on and set the heat to 5/med. Wait until the mixture is fully cooked (no raw/wet spots whatsoever). Now, put a reasonable amount of cheddar cheese onto the cooked egg mixture. You can also put bacon with the cheese if that’s what you prefer. After, fold the omelette once (it should look like a semicircle). Now, take the omelette out of the pan for now. Grilled Cheese. Take two slices of Publix Brioche bread and spread some lightly salted butter or mayo on one side of each slice of bread. Then put a slice of Vermont cheddar cheese on the opposite sides of the bread slices. Put the omelette in between the bread slices (the butter and cheese should be connected to the bread during this process. Now, put this sandwich onto the same pan. Cook each side to your liking, whether it’s perfectly cooked or not. After you are done cooking it, cut it down the middle so that there are to triangle slices of grilled cheese. Enjoy

A very good and relaxing video. Just a couple of sidenotes. You can use basic teas to improve your grinding of farm. That extra yield will make wonders for your sanity. And you do not use your small farm despite having room for one. But in this one you are not in the snow, so you can get clot from hemp and from cactus.

Tip for the night goggles. If you want to remove the annoying static noise. While they’re on , take a piece of clothing off and put it back on, the sound goes away.

Near the end, after being killed by a bow while farming started a revenge raid, I was thinking a better title for the video might be "Don't poke the Yogi". But the twist ending was absolutely "Yogi's revenge". I'm also kinda hoping that the Village at K7 might get involved in a later revenge plot... it feels time for Willjum to "make use" of his fanclub. Meanwhile the trapdoor entry up a ladder as a "front door" - and fully protected by outer base while doing it - is possibly the neatest, most magnificent base feature of all.

Hey willjum, at 38:50 instead of using that hidden box u can place a Locker with a key lock under the 2 ramps, u will be able to loot them trough the ramps 😝
