Chiori isn’t a split scaling character, she’s a dual scaling character. All her things scale off both attack, and defense, so you don’t have to be as worried about the thing.

She is must-have if you run geo in exploration due to the speed boost. She actually makes geo competent for exploration due to her quick character swap ability and speed boost.

Poor Chiori is the new Yoimiya, I’m calling it now. A well liked character that nobody will wish for. This is just about the worst possible time for her. Neuvi and Kazuha are up next, 2 of the most meta characters ever. Then comes Father, one of the most anticipated characters ever. Then coming up soon will be a Furina rerun, and also Clorinde FINALLY making her big debut. Siegewinne will be here too, and probably also a Wrio rerun at some point. And then not too far off, just a few versions away from now… Natlan. Basically, anyone keeping track of the projected future banners has absolutely no reason to pull for Chiori outside of just liking her as a character. Which I do. Just not enough to divert primogems in her direction. Cheer up, Yoimiya. You’ve got some company now in the “worst timing” club.

Yes! I’m glad you love her! I have never been more in love with a Genshin character than Chiori. I even got her signature weapon. The only other characters i got their signature weapon for was Venti and Yelan. They are my favorite characters. Chiori is so fuggin DOPE!

I'm actually happy I rolled her. I'd wanted Itto forever, and I got her early while trying for another Gorou con. Really think she's a good addition for the big Geo kid with the club.

While I was playing around with Chiori I actually found out that the geo pillars the geo sematchurls summon actually count for Chiori being able to summon two tomatoes! Chiori in my opinion is a lot like electro traveler; both are very strong on field but prefer to be off field. Chiori’s niche of teleporting and having multiple summons are covered by other five stars like Alhethem and Furina, her teleportation being slightly better because you can swap characters mid-air. Electro traveller’s off field electro dammage is covered by Beidough, Kooki and Ei Shogan, being only slightly better than Beidough because his off field burst can trigger hyperblooms while Beidough’s can’t. Still love electro traveler, he is doing some insane damage

Chiori has been pretty fun to play with, in a lot of different teams and situations. It’s nothing crazy but I tried her with Furina, Mika, and Yunjin and she did around 15k NAs.

So Chiori has Dual scaling rather than split scaling so you can benefit more from basically anything ATK or DEF however if you closely look at her kit she prioritises DEF more since multiplier for DEF is higher. Further if you press E twice and switch to the next character it triggers her passive which allows more damage than her geo infusion

I love these videos! I'm personally not pulling for Chiori cause I'm saving for Kazuah. It'd be really cool to see these kinds of videos on other characters (namely Zhongli, Raiden, Wrio, and Xiao, totally not because I have those characters XD)

Even though I'm sitting around AR57, I still feel like I don't fully "get" Genshin. I don't level up talents, never artifact farm, don't really understand team comps, etc. but after watching this video I went back and started to build my Raiden. Now she is my highest damage dealer and my main. It feels as if I'm playing Genshin for the first time again and am having so much fun! So, thank you Doro!

as a Chiori main can confirm shes worth it with a lot of effort

If you wanna do an on field dps chiori, instead of spawning her dolls and switching characters to make a geo construct you need to place a geo construct first then when chiori does her elemental skill it will spawn 2 dolls already and still get her geo infusion. thats how i do it

Actually I pulled for Chiori and somehow got her on a 1 pull. Also got her weapon shortly after. Mostly going to use her in my Gaming dps team because her hold skill allows my Gaming to do some nice plunge damage.

Hey Doro! In case you didn't know, double-tapping Chiori's skill trades her geo infusion for 2 more instances of her skill damage over the duration, which adds up to a LOT more damage. So the best way to play main DPS Chiori (at C0) is still to double-tap and swap off of her to get the "Tapestry" effect, but then bring her back in afterwards so she can benefit from Gorou's defense buff, Bennett's attack buff, etc (since her dolls don't snapshot). While you do lose the geo infusion, it's so short anyway that just using physical attacks isn't much of a damage loss, and it overall results in more DPS. I'm glad you've been liking her; she's one of my favourite designs of the entire region, and I'm thrilled to have her around :D

If only her infusion would have been longer she would have been awesome

I have her as my main right now. Her Def and atk are pretty good, and her sword is a critical dmg stat.

I pulled for Chiori, I actually saved wishes to make sure I got her c1 too! I do not regret my pulling for her and she is doing great on my acc.

I whaled her to c6, still working on artifacts, but if i can find the right artifacts I'll have her at 2.5k defense, 180 cd, and once i build gorou and yunjin, i think I'll have 4k defense and my attacks should be doing 25k each. 2 piece husk, 2 piece of the 15% normal attack piece, and r3 black sword

Did you know that if you use Chiori and you have Navia in your party and you use her e skill and swap they do a certain voice line.

I wanted a redhorn but got her sword instead, so she has to come home as well. No regrets, her design is perfect and she is a nice sub dps.

I got Chiori at 35 pulls (after starting at 40 pity), and have given her 2pc Golden Troupe for the skill damage, and 2pc Gladiator for the ATK%, and Harbinger for the sweet crit stats. If I had her at more than C0, I'd consider getting Husk, but I'd have to actually farm it, and I can't be bothered right now.

So it may be cringe but if you haven't gone through and unlocked artifacts yet, I suggest using a controller to do so. You just click the thumb stick to toggle the lock so it's a lot more efficient time wise, thx for the streams and vids as always 🙂👍

Pulled for Chiori since I already have Kazuha and Neuvi, and been a long time Noelle fan. Very salty about how HYV handled Chiori's C1, but she still works well in most teams even without a geo construct. Noelle/Furina/Chiori/Albedo actually handles both sides of floor 12 pretty competently so far, and Navia/Furina/Chiori/Xianyun is a bit weaker than running Bennett in place of Chiori but frees me from circle impact which is arguably worth it depending on enemy lineup. She's definitely strong in the teams that want her or enable her, but yeah the timing of her banner is really unfortunate. Still not sure on how I feel about Arlecchino's kit so far, since it keeps changing from week to week, but I'll be going for her signature and if I get it on the 50/50 (50/50 since I lost the 75/25 a while back on a different banner) I'll pull for her. Otherwise going to be a skip and I'll save for Sigewinne or maybe Emilie if she does actually end up releasing in 4.8. If everything lines up or I just don't like Natlan units, I'll probably go for Chiori C1 on her rerun if I have the resources. Would certainly make her stronger with Navia and potential future teams where she runs with other non construct geo units.

Arlechino stooped me from pulling Chiori even though I somehow ended up with getting her weapon. And I'm not on 50-50 and just a few pulls away from a 5 star. But Arlecchino is too good to not be pulled for as an f2p.

made a new completely f2p new account just to pull for chiori, i've forgotten how easy it is to get primos and wishes on a new account, so yeah anyway got her and her weapon in a 110 wishes. still AR 43 though i need to level up to farm 5 star artifacts but so far so good, she deals more damage than some of the 5 star characters i have on my main.
