I BUILT MY FIRST TRACK IN MX BIKES! Here's How it Went

I knew you would make a good track, but this for you're first track is genuinly amazing work good stuff lynds! Really liked seeing the progress and what goes into making this. I also have a new found respect for all the track makers.

Welcome to the track building community! Its gets easier over time, but you're always learning how to do different things. Track is awesome, played it for about an hour and really enjoyed it.

you know this track is very nice for your 1st and i do appreciate it lynds,i did spin a few laps before commenting that way i could tell ya it flows very well even for me at 240 hours so I'm impressed very well done!

Good on you aswell for releasing it for free cuz u could have gone down the path of putting it on shop for some extra money but u done it for the community so that's a W in itself.

this track is really good for a first track, but as someone with only about ~150 hours in mxbikes, i think the track is still a bit tough on the 250s. All the jumps are doable on the 250s, but if you don’t absolutely rail every single corner you’re probably going to come up short on most of the big jumps and the roller bits. Maybe i just need to get faster in those ruts (it’s hard asl to keep speed in the ruts without going over or losing the front end, but again probably a skill issue) or learn how to control a 450 without wheelieing upside down or looping the back end, but i’ve only been able to run one clean lap (2’07) around this track after having played it for like 2 days now. Maybe someone could give me some tips on it, but just in case there are other people feeling the same way i figured it’d be worth commenting so lynds can get some feedback, even if my complaints might be all skill issues lol

Going back and watching this I feel that purely using L3DT is SO easy to sculpt jumps exactly how you want them. Maybe takes me 5 or so minutes to build a good jump and easy to tweak when needing to change

cant you just use the unreal engines landscaping tool, export a heightmap and then use it for mx bikes? at least there you get proper terrain modeling tools
