The raining cows thing reminds me of when I gave a bunch of chickens infinite levitation. Eggs just start falling from the sky at absurd rates. It was a journey to kill them, but I figured out that /kill @e[type=minecraft:chicken, distance=100..1000000] worked pretty well

Normally I'm part of the group where anything above 75 FPS is just "wasted" power. This thing would be an exception, here 144 FPS would actually be helpful. And 4:00 shows that this isn't a particle accelerator, it's an unconventional artillery cannon xD It just needs TNT carts that have an impact fuse, because I think the flight time is far beyond the normal fuse time.

I saw 724 blocks as the max height. Assuming Newtonian gravity, no air resistance, and a 45 degree launch angle, this cart was moving at 168.466 blocks per second at launch. This is a little under half the speed of sound (340 blocks per second). (Edit: I think minecraft's gravity due to acceleration is a bit higher than 9.8, which means the cart was going much faster, potentially up to 230 blocks per second. It seems there's some level of air resistance in minecraft as well, because the cart's xpos and zpos stopped changing; I'm unsure how air resistance affects things because there's little documentation on it. I'll have to explore this myself)

How to make an orbital cannon with this on lifesteal smp: Step 1: get tnt minecarts Step 2: make this but make a system to load more carts Step 3: make this thing go like 100 blocks tall or any height u want (even do it from bedrock) Step 4: make the starting platform really big Step 5: calculate the distance it will go with a hopper and make a system to shoot anywhere Step 6: launch at any base you want Bonus step: try to hide the cannon so it seems like the nukes came from random places Bonus step 2: try to 1 shot everyone on the smp with the carts Bonus step 3: make this go in any direction you want Bonus step 4: instead of tnt minecarts, use normal ones and shoot minecarts all over the smp Bonus step 5: use normal minecarts and put 24 to entity cram anyone on the smp

As an idea, you could set it to night, hit the mob in the minecart with a spectral arrow and see the effects after launch

This is so cool! You should see if you could make a continuous diagonal launch chain sort of thing. Like at the landing point, you build another diagonal launch setup for it to land on and relaunch from. Idk enough about MC physics to know if that would even work right but I'm sure you do!
