I Built the LARGEST MEGA TREE EVER in Hardcore Minecraft 1.20 Survival (again) 

The fact that I watched this series since day 1 is trully such an amazing experience. I'm so proud of you fwhip!!!

In that new open space, You should add some giant acorns or fallen fruit from the tree ! If they’re magical you could add some light source blocks to them to help off set the darkness created by the branches

The tree looks absolutely incredible! I think it would be amazing to add some sort of small temple or sanctum somewhere near the base of the tree. People who worship the tree could gather there and make sure that the tree stays healthy, since it hangs halfway over the city as well now in order to prevent the tree from dying and falling down. I think it would tie in well with the lore already in this world too!

As someone who was always bothered by the original proportions the new canopy is a massive improvement! I understand why it took so long to finish I don’t think I would ever have the patience to place that many leaves. Great job!

I am so glad the community isn't angry at fWhip for using the Lightmatica feature for placing the leaves. I couldn't imagine having to do it the first time, let alone adding more this second time. The tree looks even more amazing and we're so proud of you fWhip!

The tree is amazing. I didn't think it looked bad before but the difference is incredible. I love it so much more and the way it fits in the world.

it would be so cool if you added a few spore blossoms hidden in the tree canopy! I think the floating spore particles would really add to the atmosphere :) you could also add some exposed tree roots in the surrounding area to make the tree feel more grounded and supported!

Since hes a star trader, and he CLEARLY have a good time up on the sky, why dont name him GoodTimeWithStar

maybe build a small park where the trees at 35:35 were seeing as they've been they're for so long, it would be a nice homage to what was once there for so long :)

At first the purple bit of the tree looked kinda odd to me, but its started to grow in me recently.

I don't know if this was part of the inspiration but I love that it looks kinda like a baobab with the greyish bark. Baobab are so majestic so it fits absolutely perfectly as the mystical centre of your world.

I'm so glad you updated the tree, it looks both taller and fuller now.

I can’t believe this tree was made so long ago. I do remember thinking at the time the canopy looked a bit small but this looks so much better.

I have to admit I was always iffy bout the canopy of the tree. So glad you took it on again as it is a massive improvement.

Oh my goodness that makes such a huge difference! I never realized how small the canopy actually was. Also its crazy that I've been watching this series since day 1. I subscribes right at the end of the last hardcore series when I was getting tons of inspiration for my own builds from your last series, and now I've seen how this new world has become something massive. Congrats.

It's always a joy to see clips from a livestream that I participated in, especially the azalea leaves one. Such fun discussions we all had! One question I have is, what if the world tree had seeds that fall from the canopy and float around the world? What if those seeds sprouted into smaller variants of the world tree? Nowhere near as big or as elaborate, but similar, like a "baby" version.

I love how you expanded the leaves as it looked a little off, however now it looks absolutely perfect, and I think it really fits the lore. I love it! i love the this world. it really brings me back to the days of Building with fWhip that i binged all the way through 4 years ago. the fact you always make each world one huge interconnected whole always struck a chord with me. though i kinda miss your more frequent updates, since you're more focused on releasing whole giga builds, it never fails to give me a boost whenever i see you upload. I'd like to suggest 'Captain Scholaris" for the Skyship Librarian

Since the main focus of this video is the mega tree, I think it's fitting to name the star trader villager "Treestan" or "Treecia". Also, I'm so happy that you're finally upgrading the canopy of the tree, I've been watching since D-1 of this series and I'm so happy you're upgrading the tree that surprised me you did on May 2022! The result still surprises me! You really are such a master builder!

One comment here suggested that a shrine at the base of the tree would be a nice addition. If I could add on to that, perhaps the shrine could be at the back of the tree, in the middle of the city crescent, like the centre point of it all. A platform connected to the tree could also be interesting.

for names i would suggest either Captain Flint or John Silver, specifically from Disney's movie Treasure Planet :) it's the first thing that comes to mind when i think of steampunk airships, and it fits with the villager being a world explorer!

Honestly happy he went with lightmatica for the leaves, placing leaves like that is such an insane pain in the peen and the more lazy you get with it the worse it’ll look in the end so taking a shortcut for everyone’s sanity was the right call

Loved getting a chance to revisit the tree, I loved the original more Baobab style look but the upgrade looks so gooooooood!

For the glow lichen farm, you could make a small cave entrance under the tree like if a small mammal had dug a home in its roots

Especially in times when there’s not much going on in the empires world and RU-vid is full of hermits and decked out2, you deserve even more respect for your competing content. It’s always a must watch when a fhwip video pops up. Crazy detailing skills and choice of colour palettes. Love it. And even though I enjoyed your collab a lot on empires, I wish you’d get invited to hermitcraft. If I imagine you together with Grian and Scar… Not just the building skills, all the shenanigans… would be hilarious

I thought of an interesting name for a villigare, and that would be "Doctor Stellar". I think it would fit and make him a backstory of an underrated scientist that had a dream of constructing such vechicle and being closer to stars. Nobody thought he could achieve that but now he is flying above the city of the people that mocked him, just looking down on them.

(Not meaning this an offensive way)Have you guys truly realized just how dedicated fWhip is to us!? Like look at his upload schedule, a video about every 2 weeks! Which might seem bad at first but if you think about it, if we were doing this same exact thing as fWhip is in his series, we would probably at least take a month to get a video out for stuff like this while fWhip has been uploading every 2 weeks. He has to build all of this and then the video has to get edited afterwards and all of this gets done in the span of 2 weeks! Truly amazing!

I'm grateful that Fwhip is so straightforward as a creator, it's so refreshing to come in and see the process as it unfolds, explanations on why everything is being done the way it is and why he does certain things for the sake of better art for us as his viewers, and it's honestly just so sweet. I fall asleep to his 1.16 steampunk series and I love to rewatch hardcore and hardcore skyblock. You're doing great, Fwhip! 🎉

An idea for the name for the star trader villager could be Galileo! Going off the idea of "Star" trader since Galileo was an ancient astronomer.

Open space area, you could put a druid shrine or something where local druids or shaman come to commune with nature spirits

You could add a little seating area/bench, facing the river next to the new farming house, as it's a really cozy place that I'd imagine the poeple living would use to chill out a bit after work. Love the dedication to the series, and all the different types of environments you've created!

Hey fwip, what about doing some roots popping out at random locations around the city? I think it makes sense for the size of the tree and it will make it fell like it hugs the entire city

I think a cool addition in that new open space could be some sort of ritual / worship spot in honor of the tree, to kind of tie in how important it really is to the citizens of the city.

I've started treating my minecraft projects like I do my art projects: I have a few going at a time, one big and a few smaller ones. Having those smaller projects to take a break with while slugging through the big one makes the mental drain so much easier to deal with and keeps you from hating the big one so much.

Your world is incredible and such an inspiration, you make me want to make things even half as beautiful and intricate as your own art.

That is such a huge difference - and also you ended up spending almost the same amount of time on the canopy expansion as you did the tree itself

I am so happy to see the tree being expended. I loved the original tree but it did indeed feel a little off. For the open space underneed the tree I think maybe you can make some big magical mushrooms or other type of ground coverage as you could imagine that maybe the ground has some magical substance in it. Idk do what ever you like haha

I'm glad to see you used Litematica for this. The sheer grind for just the materials is enough work as it is. Not to mention that IRL time doesn't really translate to a video. Whether it took 20 hours IRL or 5 hours IRL doesn't make much difference in the final video.

No joke thats the best tree i've ever seen buolt in hardcore. Its just so proportionate and it looks so cool casting that shadow on top of the city. Definetly a worthwhile upgrade

You should turn the big empty space underneath the tree next to the city in a sort of magical park, with large acorns and magic areas and perhaps a ritual center or two?? i think that would be a super cool way to incorporate the magic of the tree into the city

Two things: 1. You have an overworld tree and an end tree, so now all you need is a nether tree lol 2. If you put string ontop of a growing pitcher plant before it gets to become two blocks tall you can make a field of onions!

The wide canopy of the tree looks great. Given you now have airships in the air, you need an airport and a coaling station.

If anyone has a problem with you using easy-place really needs to put into perspective how time consuming placing the leaves alone would've been. For example, three hours is a long time to spend on a project as a hobby minecrafter, but time is arguably more precious when its your *career*, where every minute counts and you're always feeling as though you need to make content. Love your work Fwhip, enjoy your vacation!!
