I built the most HATED Genshin Impact character as a DPS. 

I have a friend who has an older sister with cancer and she passed away 3 years ago... 2 years after her death, I started playing Genshin and convinced my friend to play. Later she learned that Dori also had an older sister who died from sicknesw and fell in love with this character and connected with her deeply. Now, her dori is op and c6. She is now living a better life with a younger sister :)

I thought she was my first five star as I miscounted the stars.

I like everything about Dori: personality, design, kit and animations. I use her in my Alhaitham team as a battery and healer, she heals 10.000 hp per tick.

LMAO Dori is my absolute favorite character in genshin, when i heard her JP voice i got instantly hooked, everytime i see her any event or cutscene it just makes my day

When I saw that Genshin Twitter really hated her design from the moment she appeared officially, I decided in that moment I would give her love. Today, my Dori is a C6, triple crowned, Hyperbloom battery (one of her constellations makes her have amusing timing in triggering a Hyperbloom reaction with Kokomi and Nahida) with a fairly decent crit ratio of 66/137. I can definitely do better tho, your ratio is fantastic.

I actually use dori in abyss, this cycle I did nahida / kuki / yaoyao / dori so I could do on field nahida with all the heals, dori as a healing support is actually pretty good

The fact that Dori is so underrated makes me love her character so much more. Her backstory and lore is genuinely interesting and has a ton of potential to be fleshed out, especially with how her sister died and it made her apathetic and greedy, but she deep down gathers mora because it’s something that won’t leave her. Hoyo just needs to give her a good hangout quest since she’s just been given the “Mora Gremlin” role rather than a personal 1 on 1 yet

As a Dori Main, I love to see that she gets at least a bit of apretiation from players, i love dori since i saw her trailer, and i loved her, she is like a spark that was linked to me when i saw her... Thanks for giving her a chance :3

I use dori as the the ultimate battery. Her ultimate is lvl 12 (max energy regeneration), 4p exile and r5 favonious.

No, wait, coz I am also planning to build her. IDK why, but I really love going against meta even when I pull for characters that happen to be in the meta. LOL Seriously, I just wanna build her tho. This tiny lady deserves to be adored just like all the other tiny ladies too!

I use Dori on Inazuma puzzles because she can apply electro on you for a long time so these puzzles where you need to light up some stones

idk why people hate Dori, her kit isn't super good admittedly but I honestly love her design and her greedy personality gives me a good laugh. Her EngVA does such a good job too I think she might be one of the best Voices in the game. She's just a money gremlin thats all.

Doesn't Yun jin only buff normal attacks? Also those abyss enemies have physical resistance. The best team for Dori is Quicken with clam set, or if you have C6 then hyperbloom with gilded

My Dori is Lvl70/80, C3. Talents are NA/Skill/Burst 2/4/4(+3). She has R5 Mailed Flower Lvl80/80 4pc Nymph’s Dream, with Sands/Goblet/Circlet being HP/Electro/HP. All artifacts are Lv0. Final Stats are 15,832 HP 833 ATK/642 DEF 136 EM Crit Rate/Dmg 11.6/70.2 111.7% ER 15% Hydro Bonus 7% Electro Bonus. Made plans to make a Hydro Dori because Candace was released.

I just wish The Bell's passive worked differently. It could have turned Dori into a dual healer/shielder. Similar to how the Prototype Amber turns C4 Yanfei into a dual shielder/healer. I already have Diona, the aforementioned Yanfei build, Noelle, and Baizhu anyway. Still, would have been nice to give Dori a dual role.

Dori's burst's ability to create in a Hyperbloom team is actually quite good and her best source of damage. You're better off ignoring she even has normal or charge attacks.

If ur gonna use dori as support trust that you have to have dendro as main dps. I used to do nahida, dori, yelan/zhongli, yae with nahida as on field and the electro application is so strong. Her burst goes so well with nahida skill + NA

I never understood why people hate on Dori so much 😅 What made me fell in love with her in the beginning was her design and bubbly attitude. Yes, she is a bit too materialistic, but she is very fun, and I hope I will get the chance to obtain more constellations for her. Ultimately, people should play with the characters they love. Some love the damage output, others love the utility aspect, some love the design or personality of a character. Whatever it is the case for you, just have fun and be happy 🥰

why didnt u try her as a hyperbloom carry?

Try her when c6. She infuses herself for 3s (also normal attacks heals), it may seems little time but when pair it with thunder fury and her first passive talent she can have almost full infusion. So you can play her like a electro driver onfield, or dps, like I do. Its really fun to play and it gave me some use for her.

People can hate on her all they want. Her lore didn't stop me from using her. She's my main healer on my alternative account (mainly used for farming for my main account and pulling on standard exclusively) and she's doing GREAT. Even better than everyone else. Especially in co-op.

The irony is I am going to try to pull for her from Venti's banner coming up since I don't have her yet and do have 1 furnishing set finished that she might like. Characters will reward the player with free primogems if they complete a furnishing set they like and have them in their active teapot layout. Found that out when I got Tighnari (best archer in my opinion) from standard banner a while back. (Note: I don't count pulling 5-star standard characters as losses if pulled from the standard banner, nor do I think getting a 50-50 loss character is bad since there are technically no bad characters, just bad builds)

Dori was my first 4 star character, and i never understood why people didn't like her. Right now she is lvl 90 with a lvl 90 claymore (i forgot the name of it). Her talents are 6,10,10. I have her with some decent artifacts but im currently planning on rebuilding her so she can do better dmg as a battery for a hyperblooom team with my koko and nahida

I gave my Dori HP Clam Set. She heals for 14,000 damage a second and pops her bubble for between 25-45k because she's electro and Clam is affected by Superconduct.

Kaveh does this CONSTANTLY, hell there's a litteral Song made JUST Because he Jealous of Alhaitham and refuses to admit it. He's a damn fool who wastes ALL of his funds building archtecture throughout Sumeru without thinking of the cost or consequences of his actions which Everyone else seems to have noticed BUT HIM. Dori wasn't entirely blameless that situation could've been handled better sure but Kaveh is too fluffing stupid to realize his issues unless someone throws him to the wolves and points out what he doesn't want to hear, which is what Dori more or less did. She played the role of the villain so he'd learn and take matters to self-improvement, like she was forced too. Her parents watched as her twin died, she was the only one who tried to save her. Kaveh didn't do a single damn thing when his own father died pushes all of his problems and failures off to the side or blames Alhaitham for half his issues. He WASTES Mora instead of properly saving it for when it's actually needed for an actual emergency. Dori is both an informant and a merchant she already was aware of Kaveh's idiotic spending habits so of course she'd tell him to take a hike. I had a friend like that at one point he'd always waste his money, than b-ch and complain and it got to the point he'd ask me for small amounts, I was okay with once or twice or him offering something worth the value of the requested amount but than it got uncomfortable once the amount hit a certain thresh hold. At some point I terminated our friendship, because he became a leech at some point that's more or less what Kaveh is. I don't blame Dori or cutting him off honestly. Do I agree with her methods nope but it should solve some apparent issues.

Honestly I think any character can be great when you invest the time into them when it comes to their strength Some characters might be easier to build than others, or have a kit advantage by default, but if you really like a character and want them on your team then frankly it doesn't matter if they aren't the meta Screw the meta, seriously, just play the characters you like and if anyone has anything negative to say about that then prove them wrong by showing them just how strong your character can be when you give them the time and dedication It's far more fun to play Genshin that way, in my opinion, rather than forcing yourself to constantly adapt to the power creep and build characters you don't care about for the sake of 36 starring the spiral abyss

The TRUE META Dori build is the one where she gives you the passive material refund chance at crafting and doesn't need to be in your party. Low investment, F2P friendly... Doesn't even need gear. 10/10 Highly Recommend.

Dori is a good character to fights against the stronger npcs, i use her to electrify the others and use an hydro hability, like Barbara, or Pyro hability, like Amber

I like the greedy little gremlin child, lvl 90 her day 1 and she’s the one charecter for who I change the voice to JP from EN, too bad I don’t use many teams that need electro healer, atleast I was still able to use her to carry co-op cause people kept dying for no reason

My gf and i like to randomize bosses and characters and the one day after we finished that i was like, lets beat up childe with whatever character we wand, ill bring layla and you bring kokomi so we dont die. Anyway, we bullied childe with a lvl 40 dori (me) and a lvl 20 yunjin (My memory is shot rn so i think) Dori was actively doing good damage
